Honestly the best fighter Joshua has ever faced as a pro will be Parker in his next fight. The only reason this is happening is because Parker was considered the safe bet because of his size and style. I fully expect Parker to give Joshua a MUCH harder fight than he's expecting and I'd love to see Parker win only because I believe that will lead to a title unification fight. If Joshua wins we're gonna see more of the Adonis Stevenson type of champion out of Joshua. All talk and full avoidance of any credible defenses unless backed into a corner. Come on Parker!

I agree on some points. I think AJ would definately fight Wilder next but Hearn doesn't want it. Whereas if Parker beats AJ you can see him getting in there with Wilder next. It's not as glamorous as the AJ/Wilder fight but its still a big fight I'd be happy to see.

Out of interest how do you rate Wilder's opponents? Because from here, Joshua looks to have fought better fighters at an earlier stage of his career. If you consider them all cans, then what has Wilder been fighting?

Yes, and for Hearns/Joshua to quickly line up another fight - not Wilder!

I Think every other top heavweight is more technically sound and have better fundamentals than Wilder. Maybe except Parker but you know what?...it does not matter, he just has to hit them ONCE

I think some American/wilder fans are quite deluded, firstly the cash cow doesn’t have to say much, he is the man everyone wants. So he gets looked upon as ducking anyone/everything. It happened with Floyd Mayweather.

Secondly like you pointed out how is Wilder opponents in terms of rating? People makes it looked like his resume is stacked. And that AJ has been avoiding big fights all his life.

Wilder took a calculated risk this week and it paid off brilliantly for him, which is great for us boxing fans and the HW division, but this was his 40th fight, AJ took his risk in less fights. So the notion that us English fans are deluded is just laughable.

If AJ beats Parker and that’s a big “if” then I expect these two to make this fight for the end of 2018 unless they couldn’t come to an agreement.

I might be crazy but I actually think Parker beats Wilder if Wilder doesn’t KO. Wilder is becoming too in love with his power. Against Stiverne in their first fight he box when he knew he couldn’t KO him. Against Ortiz he barely threw any meaningful punches until the 4 round.

He can not afford to do that against a young fit Fury, Parker or any HW with a good chin and stamina.

I like BOTH AJ and Wilder. It seems like to some fans you are not allowed to be a fan of both. ITS a 50-50 fight in my eyes maybe 60-40 for Wilder because of his awkwardness, athleticism, movement and 1 punch power. But Joshua is the man. His size and heavy hands can give Wilder serious trouble especially if he gets close enough to work Wilder's body. Can you imagine Joshua hitting Wilder with a good left hook to his ribs on the inside?! Man I cant wait for this fight. May the best man win.(if it ever happens)

When Wilder arrives over in Cardiff, I hope he behaves himself like a true gentleman and be nice. Please don't storm the ring after the fight and crash Joshua's victory lap or he just may frighten him into not wanting to fight him. I say that because Joshua is such a really nice sweet guy but lacks the self-confidence of a Deontay Wilder.

I think you are deluded lol, Joshua “sweet guy” persona is fake. That guy is worse than Wilder. Just because he is the cash cow and his PR is not to say thing doesn’t mean he isn’t a nasty fella.

Well I am not from Great Britain so I don't really know him. However he does put up a very good fake image though. Now as I can remember; Yes. As a matter of fact you are right.

I remember when he was talking to fiddy cent either on Periscope or Face time at the Mayweather gym or at Floyd's house, he was taking **** about how he was going to *** up Deontay Wilder for fun. Now when I think about it. He's one fake sneaky mofo
