Truth is Ortiz has never beaten anyone, is old, out of shape, has a heart condition, way past prime, has been inactive, AND had Wilder so badly hurt the ref should have stopped it in the 7th.

But yeah, a better win than Wlad...
I never said or even implied any of that. If you're going to use strawman arguments there's nothing else to discuss or read. You already lost credibility when you based your opinions on a boxer's physique.

Why do people pretend that Wladimir was the same fighter he had always been lol? He was clearly diminished when he fought Joshua and it's not debatable either.
How about because Jennings was content with surviving, if he actually tried to win he wouldn’t have seen 12. Did Jennings land a meaningful punch in that fight??

Wlad against AJ was diminished but that version of him is still better than Ortiz in my opinion.

They have around the same weight: two old boxers who were stylistic nightmares for the young ones and better boxers too. It's time to talk less Wilder, let's see what Joshua has to offer now

Yeah, you're right, man. Nothing worse than wasting time with explaining things to simpletons.

This post puts it into perspective. Made me laugh too.

The problem is that this discussion goes into extreme opposites because of last night's result.

Had Wilder got KOd, he would be a bum. Period.
Since he's won, he's one of the best ever.

Personally, it didn't prove much. He's still the same exact boxer.

I don't think highly of him and neither of AJ. Both are good. And that is it.

You lost all credibility when you looked at the pictures and made a judgement, instead of reading what I’ve been posting.

In fact, you lost credibility when you supported what Wilder said and used triangle theories for an argument.

No serious boxing fan can support that. Only Wilder fans.

                  More common sense. I agree.

Looks like one has to necessarily be a Wilder or Joshua majorette to entertain a discussion in this thread.

Not necessarily, but since Wilder beat Ortiz suddenly, overnight, Klitschko has become Mr Burns.

I never rated Klitschko that highly to begin with; this, perhaps, is my problem. There's someone who places him in the all-time top 10 of the heavyweights, which is laughable. To me, people like Mike Weaver and Michael Dokes would have knocked him out cold.
