I don't really get this. Unless one's related or a personal friend of these boxers I don't understand why people get so heated about it.
Another point is: even if Wilder doesn't believe in his own words do you guys really, really, really believe he would say "Nah, AJ's victory was far better".
come on, guys.

People can call him "Windmill" and disparage his technique, but Wilder has done nothing but win and stop every man he's ever faced. There are some of you that will never give him the credit that he's due, but even those people have to be starting to understand that Wilder is not the mere 'flash in the pan' that they portray him as.
Was Wilder's victory over Ortiz 'better' than Joshua's victory over Klitschko? That's for individual fans to decide for themselves, but you can't deny that Ortiz is younger than Klitschko, he was not coming-off a loss like Klitschko was, and unlike Klitschko, Ortiz had never been knocked-out before.
Joshua's fight against Klitschko was more exciting to watch than Wilder vs Ortiz, but Joshua had a harder time beating a 41-year-old Klitschko than Corrie Sanders did when he demolished a prime Klitschko more than a decade earlier. He also had a harder time beating Klitschko than Lamon Brewster or Ross Puritty did. It's difficult to argue that Joshua beat a better version of Klitschko than those guys did, especially since Klitschko was coming-off an embarrassing decision loss to Tyson Fury that saw him throw among the least amount of punches ever recorded in the history of heavyweight title fights. It would not be completely unfair to say that Joshua only beat Tyson Fury's leftovers.
Both Joshua and Wilder had to show a lot of character to hang-on and beat older men in career-defining fights. Joshua has the seemingly more well-rounded technique, but he looked lethargic in his last fight and there are questions about his stamina. Wilder is seemingly more unorthodox and crude, but he seem to be gifted with devastating power and natural athleticism. A potential showdown between the two has reignited people's interest in the heavyweight division. It's going to be exciting!Last edited by Lemonhead_Jeff; 03-04-2018, 06:37 PM.

Wlad was hungry again, he had been on top for a very long time when he fought Tyson. It doesnt matter really the triangle theory **** doesnt work and has never worked. Ill call this now so there is no question where I stand. Joshua will KO Wilder inside of 4 rounds. I get people who were already Wilder fans are excited after saturday night and you should be, He beat atleast in my opinion the 3rd best hw in the world and I still hold Ortiz there. The difference is Joshua is going to come after this guy and he isnt going to let him sit back and load up. Joshua has skills and is learning every fight, the Klitchko fight taught him a lot as did this fight for Wiulder. What we are about to see is the tables turned, Wilder will be the old man against a young, strong monstrous puncher.

Wilder's signature win is no better or worse than Joshua's.

I would say its a lot better of a win given Wilder never got dropped and the klit fight was stopped early. Ortiz is techincally the best in the division. And if he cant beat Wilder know on can.
