Every boxer gets old, and every boxer gets old at different times. 50 year old BHop never did 365 drug testing. 36 year old GGG has been doing it for years. I think GGG's team needs to demand Canelo do the same drug testing they are 365 days a year, otherwise this fight should not be sanctioned because it could pit a PED boxer against a clean boxer, which is very dangerous. GGG showed in the first fight even with huge disadvantages he can cope, but it's still not a fair playing field. All boxing fans want even playing fields. Haters do not. Im a boxing fan, so I want an even playing field, and I dont think these fights are happening on one.
But, that's also on GGG's team. They should have made a bigger issue about it. Apparently, the money is good enough for Team GGG to throw GGG to the wolves and keep quiet about it. At least, that's what it looks like. I hope I'm wrong.

I've also never called any fighter scared. But on balance, some fans become abit fragile when it's pointed out them that Canelos best win is Trout, that he lost to an old welterweight, that Lara looked to have outboxed him, and he's best wins are blown up welters or drained supermiddles. If we're going to do criticism it has to be balanced. Canelo has to win this to even think about the hall of fame. We can't just pretend Golovkin isn't 36.Outside BHop, that has always been considered old for a non heavy. The last performance was nowhere near what a HOF in he's prime should be turning in. Let's be objective.

I don’t think Canelo is referring to the right hand that made GGG stumble (because he was off-balance).
There was an even better right a little earlier in that round and then a body shot later in the round that GGG visibly reacted to.
But conditioning aside, the biggest change Canelo has to make is to effectively subdue GGG’s jab. It was solid and consistent throughout and really troubled Canelo.

Well you told her where you stand so if she decides to stick around then fucc it! Keep fuccing her but at the same time do your thing on the side. You don't owe her anything.
If you find someone else then just tell her she gotta go.

Fact is ggg isn’t improving at 36 with two legit opponents with 1 draw and 1 win officially where those results weren’t clear, canelo, say what you want... he is still under 30 yr old and he has room to grow and put names in his resume. Which his resume is already head and shoulders above ggg. Facts

But the fact is that Canelo may not improve now either, since he's already had a pretty long pro career. If we really look at he's wins, he only has two good ones too, Trout and Lara. If we take out the welters like Mosley and Cotto. So if we take a good fight with Trout, which I thought he won, and one with Lara, which many thought he lost, and a loss to an old welterweight, there's nothing clearly better about he's resume than GGGs. And the last one, against an older guy who you say isn't HOF, he escaped with a draw. He's got it all to prove this time if he's to prove he's as good as you claim.Last edited by Robi13; 03-03-2018, 10:16 AM.
