Will his followers and all that be falling? I've never followed him on any social media but I would search him every now and then when anything controversial was said in the news. Just looked on Twitter, he still has 8.04M followers but he seems to get a fraction of the likes he would get on active boxing posts. Has his number of followers remained steady?
Will Floyd Mayweather Jr. be seeing a steady drop in popularity during retirement?

I heard Pacquiao gets about 2 searches a day on Google on all world servers whereas Floyd averages #48,000,000 hits a day -
Doesnt matter, he BEAT pac where it counted....in the ring on the biggest stage in boxings biggest FIGHT ever! 48 did worse than Canelo
years later it still bothers the tards.
AND FLOYD IS STILL THE MOST POPULAR BOXER ALIVE. TOP 5 PPV'S 1-4 FLOYD.

I say no because take Michael Jordan for example: Even though he has been retired and out of basketball as a player for at least 15 years and yet he is still popular among fans due to his commercial appeal and product lines; Especially the Nike "Air Jordan's".Comment

Not really. His name cross-references with other fighters who have fan bases from UK, Mexico and the Philippines (Hatton, Oscar, Hatton). Their fights are still watched to this day on YouTube and one of his fights will inevitably come in the "view next" list. So, no, he'll always be popular because of who he fought and his stellar record.Comment

It's also to do with the quality of the posts on Twitter. Many of the likes other fighters get is because their posts are more personal, for example, Degales bashing of Eubank whereas Mayweather's is usually more commercial and just promoting products. If he wanted he could easily turn into a drama queen and get thousands of likes. Will his followers and all that be falling? If Floyd sees this thread, he's gonna post a pic of himself wearing MMA gloves, just to get people to talk about him again.Comment
