Does Arum even realize what he says??? He is claiming that hbo made G-Canelo II on May 5th, just so they would show the replay a week later, because they knew Lomachenko was "wanting" to fight Linares on that day. The entire world has known since the decision of a draw was read that they were going to have a rematch on May 5, 2018. But apparently this was all done just to prevent Loma from facing Linares. Or maybe Arum is full of b.s. and has to drop names of good fighters to have anyone pay attention to his two fighters because he won't let them fight any of them.
For all the Haymon hating, Arum c*cksuc*ing idiots, tell us how Arum always makes the big fights and will work with anyone. Yes, he will work with GB as long as GB agrees to have two cards on two separate networks at the exact same time. Arum is a freakin cancer to the sport of boxing. He has the morals of a weasel on meth and contradicts himself every time he talks.
Linares tried to squirm out of facing Mikey, but now he is trapped. Either fight him or admit you won't. Its for Mikey's belt, Linares is the mandatory challenger. So Linares wouldn't have to vacate his belt, he can just say he doesn't want to fight Mikey. But if he does that, no one will ever respect him at all. Ever again.

Linares has to go to the UK to get a better pay check than GB pays him.

But I feel Oscar is doing everything possible to make this fight. Even a hater like you can see that.
But you'll never give Oscar props no matter what .
Uncle Bob knew HBO would play the replay on the 12th so why he being persistent on that date? HBO is even willing to pay more money to broadcast that fight if Bob is certain the fight has to happen on that day..
So how can you hold Oscar responsible for the fight not happening??

The reason why I think hbo is more to blame is because everyone seemed on board to have the fight on ESPN so deciding which network would air it wasn't the problem. The date became the problem because ESPN needs it to be that Saturday because they can't move around the NBA playoffs, and I see that as a more credible reason than not wanting competition vs a replay of a fight that hbo will already be raking in millions just 1 week earlier because it'll sell well over a million in ppv again. Ratings for a replay are pennies in comparison. At least that's what I think
