Loma has had 11 fights, and so far Arum has gotten him Salido, GRJ, Walters, and Rigo all in that time. And agreed to terms with Linares lead promoter. Arum put him in with a 10 pounds bigger (IN THE RING!) Salido, and then undefeated GRJ, in his 2nd and 3rd pro fights. What makes you think Arum is afraid to match this guy? If anything I question his willingness to match Crawford vs tough guys, because when he was asked about making Crawford-Pacquiao closer to Pacquiao's prime, Arum said his matchmakers still thought Pacquiao was too much for Crawford at that point, and even Crawford came out refusing to fight Pacquiao at 147, despite Crawford being way bigger than Pacquiao. Almost as if he was on orders from Arum. And then ever since little Gamboa hurt Crawford, Arum has only matched Crawford against one powder puff boxer after another. Postol. Diaz. Indongo. All of these have worse KO%'s than Paulie Malignaggi. Okay I'm exaggerating. Or am I? I would have to check, that's how bad it is. I would actually have to check. They all have like 40% or 50% KO%. Extremely low. They have kept Crawford far away from punchers. But ever since Gamboa, they have have not matched Crawford even once against someone with the ability to land punches, and with punches that have knockout power.

Right now Jorge Linares is in the drivers seat, he can give Lomochenko a opportunity or fight a real draw in Mikey Garcia but it seems Lomochenko side are trying to back out ; we know Lomochenko been exposed lets not pretend that hes TBE. Just as likely they stopped taking bribes when the IBF got caught and created the additional titles to make up for the revenue lost when they stopped taking bribes.

The WBC is by far the closest to being the real world title out of the four. Based on the organizations that joined together to create it.

But if you want to make the argument that the USBA pulling out of the WBA gives the IBF the true lineage of the NBA, then an argument could be made for the IBF being a peer of the WBC. Yes, the IBF had the embarrassing bribery scandal, but with the federal monitoring and the insanely strict following of the rules now, the IBF is the closest thing the sport has to an impartial set of rankings treating everyone equally regardless of star power.

The problem though is that so many top fighters avoid the IBF because they don't want to have rules strictly enforced.

If I had to choose one, I would definitely choose the WBC, but I understand the need for at least two titles so fighters have a better chance of overcoming politics.
