If Manny Pacquiao really didn't simply need the money, there'd be no reason for him to even bother with a fighter like Mike Alvarado after he and Floyd basically generated $600m in fight revenue (plus whatever upside came from ticket resellers and personal sponsors).

Depending on what the Top Rank deal looks like, he got maybe $100m from that fight, yet he's still taking fights for $5m-$10m? Lol

Your idea doesn’t work because Top Rank doesn’t have back to back espn Saturdays.
It's one ESPN date; the re-air of Pacquiao-Alvarado and the live run of Horn-Crawford.

whstd so funny about that smh? Maybe he enjoys boxing and that isn’t chump change. You obviously don’t see the big picture lol.

Flip the script homie. Why did floyd go from fighting nanny for 200 million to fighting Berto for Only 32million?

Because the Berto fight ended the options owed on the Showtime/CBS, fulfilling the obligation, and everyone walking away on great terms (so that, let's say, when the day came for Floyd to consider fighting in a sheer spectacle, there was enough cache/respect between Floyd and Showtime that they went with it).

With the contract covered, Floyd left the sport, with the only thing bringing him back beyond the prospect of getting $100m guaranteed. Sat out two years, but the Conor spectacle guaranteed his number, so he came back. Floyd's likely done as a fighter now.

Manny Pacquiao got his payday (I have doubts that the number actually got to $100m), sat out for a year, and then had 3 fights in 14 months that maybe got him $30m between the three of them.

The fact that Manny Pacquiao had to go to Australia, to fight an Australian, to get maybe $10m basically proves that he's living fight to fight. lol

-Top Rank PPV presents: Pacquiao vs Alvarado (Tessitore, Kriegel, Bradley as the announcers).

-Top Rank Boxing on ESPN presents: Horn vs Crawford. Two live fights, with the Pacquiao-Alvarado replay, to make a tripleheader.

What does May have to do with **** here? Lomachenko's date isn't Crawford's date.

u must not know much about Manny Pacquiao. He built over 100 homes in the Philippines and gives hundreds of thousands of dollars away. He views money differently and wants to help people. He has plenty of properties and cars and other assets but he isn't building a stock portfolio. It isn't who he is as a person.

And now after Manny demolishes Alvarado he sets himself up for a big payday vs Crawford or Loma

wtf? There is only a may 12 date. There isn't a May 19 date. What are u talking about? They are going to hold a replay from 4/14 from Crawford for two weeks to replay or four weeks? Get informed. Top Rank as April 14 and 28 and May 12. There aren't any back to back dates. SMH you are clueless

why would you doubt he got 100 million? Remember a lot of it gets paid on the back end of the ppv numbers and also remember a lot gets paid to MP Promotions for tax purposes. I am not sure you are educated on that. There are a lot more write offs in a promotional company than an individual fighter.

Manny Pacquiao could build 1000 homes, and it wouldn't change the fact that he's seemingly taking fights simply to put money in his pocket. Lol
