Floyd delayed his tax payment to avoid having to exit any of his investments to pay a bill, the balance on the count was paid with a piece of his guarantee, and the McGregor bill likely gets paid with another sizable piece of Floyd's guarantee (even if you assume something ridiculous, Floyd's guarantee basically covered the tax bill, and he still likely made another $100-$150m on the back-end of the event. The whole Floyd thing was basically a one-month story.
Pacquiao's been chased down for his tax payment for basically 8 years at this point, to the point that the amount owed is now $75m and the hope of just having the tax bill forgiven by a political supporter are so far removed that now he's taking about a settlement, lol.
Broner is a screw-up, living hand to mouth on $1m+ purses; sad part is that Pacquiao's also a screw-up, except that he's doing it with $15m purses while having maybe 2-3 fights left in him, lol.
Floyd has a crew, but he's not giving away 300 tickets to ****, for the simple fact that he's selling the ****ing tickets. Mayweather Promotions is on the darn marquee, with Floyd staking his own money off the event.
Pacquiao has no such issue, because it's not his money at risk.
