Canelo was the one that agreed in writing before the Khan fight that he would have 15 days after to negotiate with GGG before a purse bid was ordered. The WBC waited until the Monday after the Khan fight to start the 15 day clock to give Canelo even more time than agreed.

A purse bid did not require the attendance of Canelo or Oscar. GB could have sent practically anybody to submit their envelope. So that excuse holds no water.

You're lying. Mikey never requested permission to avoid his mandatory. Mikey was required, as are all WBC champions, to seek special permission to fight outside the weight class. Permission was granted because Mikey's mandatory didn't want to fight yet. If Linares had wanted to fight, Mikey would not have been allowed to take other fights. It is Linares, even before Mikey was even champion, who has refused to fight for the WBC title over and over.

Any offer GB made to Mikey is nonsense because if GB was really willing to let the fight be on SHO, then GB would have demanded a purse bid long ago.

Another lie he put in the request that's out the fat man's mouth himself not once but twice. I posted links. You have proof that the WBC did this because Linares told the WBC don't got to purse bid or any other nonsense then post it dumbazzz! We are all waiting. This is the game you play where you lose arguements then throw ridiculous shyt out and say it's a fact with no proof. In the meantime I will take the WBC at their word for why they granted Mikey permission who twice requested they not enforce his mandatory and that he lied to suilaman who is quoted saying after they gave him the first delay to not fight his mandatory that he told him that he would fight Linares next. But once again everyone is lying and you know the true story that has never been released. Either way post a link or shut the phuk up with these ****** claims.

Sulaiman wants to clear the up the big debate at 135-pounds - who is the real WBC lightweight champion?

The beltholder was Jorge Linares of Venezuela. He was made the WBC "champion in recess" after suffering a bad hand injury which made him unavailable to make a mandatory defense against Dejan, who eventually captured the vacant championship.

Linares, who now holds the WBA world title and the WBC Diamond title at 135, faces Anthony Crolla in a rematch on March 25 in Manchester. The first fight was close and had good action, but Linares was the better man.

Provided Linares wins the rematch, Sulaiman will look to have him face Garcia to set a single WBC champion at 135.

"That is the fight that must happen, Linares with Mikey, so that there is only one champion," Sulaiman said.

            - out Fat boy's mouth himself they have to fight so there is only 1 champion/belt. And if you check back in 2016 he had already made the winner of Dejan/Mikey mandatory to fight Linares after his rematch.

            July 7 2017
World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has revealed that WBC lightweight world champion Mikey Garcia requested permission to fight Adrien Broner on July 29th, before an eventual showdown with mandatory challenger Jorge Linares .

Linares, who holds the WBA championship at 135, is also the WBC's Diamond champion at the weight. Because he is a "champion in recess" and never actually lost the title, the sanctioning body is going to order a fight between him and Garcia.

Garcia has already stated that after the contest with Broner he intends to return to the lightweight division to face Linares.

As BoxingScene.com recently reported, Linares is likely going to return to the ring on September 23. The opponent and the location is unknown, but Golden Boy Promotions has ruled out the rumored candidate, Olympic gold medal winner Luke Campbell.

"Mikey Garcia will meet with Broner in a super lightweight fight. We have a request from his promoters... [for that contest] and [Garcia] confirmed to me that his plan is to return to lightweight and make the fight with Linares," Sulaiman said to ESPN Deportes.

            - out Fat boy own mouth that Mikey and his team requested they get permission to avoid being stripped for not fighting his mandatory

            Oct 4 2017
At their ongoing convention in Baku, the World Boxing Council has ordered a mandatory fight between WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (37-0, 30 KOs) and WBC Diamond lightweight champion Jorge Linares (43-3, 27 KOs).

            - Fat boy says enough enough we are ordering you Mikey to fight Linares next

Golden Boy and Mikey were in negotiations and he twice turned down contracts to fight Linares. The final contract had no future offers just a 1 off fight and allowed Mikey to shop for the the best network deal and even fight on Showtime. After turning down the deal Mikey for the SECOND time put in formal request to the WBC to get permission to again not defend his title, not fight his mandatory and again fight at 140 NOT 135.

            Feb 11 2018
In January, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman told Boxing Scene: “Champion Mikey Garcia received special permission to fight over the weight in February in a WBC special event. WBC diamond champion Jorge Linares will defend his championship in January.”[/B]

FACT Mikey is the one mandated to fight Linares over a year ago and the mandatory existed the year before to the winner of Dejan/Mikey to fight Linares.
FACT Mikey has turned down contracts for this fight
FACT Mikey has requested multiple times to delay the WBC from enforcing he fight Linares or be stripped
FACT Mikey hasn't once defended his belt or even fought at 135 in over a year.

Yet Linares is the one who doesn't want this fight? H0e please. Spin master working overtime today

Waiting for you to provide any links quotes from suilaman that linares told them he didn't want the fight, a purse bid ect???

When the WBC made the ****** decision to strip linares when he was injured then gave him a diamond belt and promoted it as a unification with crolla. That's what created this mess.

Please show us where the WBC said Linares wanted a purse bid, but the WBC was granting a request from Mikey to not go to purse bid.

You can't. Never happened. You're taking statements from the WBC out of context and drawing illogical conclusions. Nowhere has the WBC ever said Linares wants the fight next, but Mikey is asking for a delay. Never.

Mikey is required to seek special permission to fight in another weight class. Had nothing to do with Linares. Linares' rights predate Mikey winning the title and at any point in the last two years, Linares could have snapped his fingers and had a purse bid.

Finally the WBC is forcing a purse bid next month and suddenly Linares wants the Loma fight instead. Linares' actions every step of the way have shown he doesn't want a purse bid. He's had two years to ask for one and he still doesn't want the fight. The second the WBC forces his hand, he seeks a different fight.

So linares has been saying he wants the fight for 1 year straight, his promoter has slid not 1 but 2 contracts on his behalf to Mikey for this fight which he turned down. But linares is the one who secretly doesn't want the fight? And the only word from the WBC for why they haven't forced a purse bid or enforced this fight is that Mikey has put in requests for permission to not fight his mandatory. News flash if you request to fight someone else instead your mandatory whether at 135 or another weight class it's the same thing...you are the one delaying the fight dumbazzz.

despite these facts you have no shred of proof to your bs but we should just take the word of a lying cvnt on a message board on what's really going on behind scenes?

Like I said shut the phuk up till you have 1 link or quote from the WBC that linares told them not to enforce the mandatory. Until then keep spinning boy.

It doesn't matter what he says, it matters what he does. Linares, FOR YEARS, has had the ability to snap his fingers and force the WBC champion to fight him. He hasn't done it. He doesn't need to make anybody offers. He was the champion in recess. He had binding rights guaranteeing him a title fight when he returned. Four fights later and he still refuses to enforce his rights. He can "say" he wants the fight all he wants, but he's had the ability for two years now to have the fight and has chosen not to take it. Why would you listen to somebody's words when their actions directly contradict them?

He doesn't have to offer a contract. Go to purse bid. Making Mikey bogus offers so he can "turn them down" is nothing more than PR propaganda. I am officially offering Linares $1 to fight me. If he doesn't fight me, then he "turned me down." See how that works?

But linares is the one who secretly doesn't want the fight?
Linares himself may want the fight, but his promoter has chosen an easier path.

For four fights in a row, Linares has a guaranteed WBC title shot and chose not to take it. At what point should his title shot be taken away? The WBC is giving him one last chance by ordering a purse bid next month. If Linares declines and fights someone else instead, would you agree that he should no longer be mandatory?
