I'm waiting for PBF to beat someone in the top 10 before I put him in the top 3. If Taylor can beat Hopkins, Hopkins, Wright he is in very strong consideration for #1. If he beats Wright convincingly, he is #1. If it's a close split decision kind of fight with Wright, then still in the top 3 but probably not #1.

PBF appears to have the skills to rule the boxing game for a while, but he is barely a blip on the PPV scene. He ought to be bigger than ODLH already, with unified belts, not fighting a string of bums and promoting the Judah fight like it's better than Ali-Frazier 4. We aren't that gullible, but he is still young and has plenty of time to justify his fans accolades.

Taylor has the potential; but he has to take it up a notch. If he does what I think he's capable of against Wright, I will be the first to sing his praises. However, if he looks like he did against Hopkins in the Wright fight...that's not enough, pure and simple. p4p is about dominance, excellence of execution, and as close to perfection as you can get. It's a mythical title based on the performance of the figher...it's not a popularity contest.

No fighter will ever look good against Hopkins, Taylor won both fights, he did what had to do, you can't blame him for that.

No version of Joppy would've ever beaten Taylor, so I don't even know why called Joppy old, do you think a young Joppy would've beaten Taylor??

Taylor beat the #1 P4P guy in Hopkins twice, if he gets a win against the #2 P4P fighter, then Taylor should not be ranked lower then #2.

I always though that PBF should be #1 when Hopkins was #1, until he loses he should be at #1 spot.

Then why is Floyd Mayweather number 1? You're wrong, by the way, that's what p4p meant in the olden days. P4P nowadays is an american term for 9 times out of 10 an AMERICAN fighter.

i give taylor more credit for what he did against hopkins... cause hopkins is hard to look against and even harder to beat... if taylor beats wright decisively, he'll be my #1 p4p...

Again you forget that Hopkins & Wright are not fighters you gonna look good against, I don't care if you put Robinson against Hopkins, he will not look good.

Your performance theory is not making any sense.

What can I say...I'm a purist; and I judge by the old standards. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and don't believe the hype. Call it what you will..I call 'em like I see 'em.

I mentioned Joppy because he's the only other fighter of note that Taylor has ever fought. But, yes, I agree there's no version of Joppy Taylor wouldn't have beaten. Joppy's one of the most overrated fighters to come along in a long time. His biggest wins were over Julio Caesar Green..who beat him...and an 82 year old Roberto Duran.

PBF already beat 3 fighters on the P4P list, Zab on on there last year, as well as Corrales and JLC
