...and PBF is #1 because he does present the image of an unbeateable fighter...whether he is or not. He would be a favorite in just about any match you could put him in between 140 and 154...tell me I'm wrong.

Taylor was a 3-1 underdog when the Wright fight was announced.

    Nuff said.

Agreed that Hopkins is not a guy you can look good against; but because there are questions surrounding those fights, Taylor was NOT the clear winner....and if he didn't have skin on his teeth, he wouldn't have won them. Dominance is what it's all about....to be the best without question. Taylor is not....not yet. The "?" has to be removed.

Joppy's one of the most overrated fighters to come along in a long time. His biggest wins were over Julio Caesar Green..who beat him...and an 82 year old Roberto Duran.
Raul Marquez is a better fighter then Joppy. Taylor was the first man to put Marquez down.

The first fight was not even close in my opinion, Hopkins lost the first 8 rounds, the second fight was a little closer, still I had Taylor winning 7 rounds.

that's why people have pbf at #1 now, but if taylor beats wright decisively he won't be an underdog to anyone either...

No argument, there. It all depends on what Taylor does against Wright. If he pleads his case right...he's right up there with Floyd.

At that stage in his career, maybe; but Raul was still stopped by Yori Boy Campas and Vargas....jr. middleweights. Still, the question is moot. Joppy, at least, was a natural middleweight.

Being stopped is a different then being knocked down.
