calzaghe didn't land more than a couple clean punches the entire fight thats why. it was pathetic. that old man boxed circles around him, dropped him, nearly dropped him a second time(judges somehow gave that round to calzaghe still) and led him into punches over and over. calzaghe "beat" hopkins cause he tried really hard but failed. that was politics and nothing more. the first 8 rounds especially were so cringeworthy watching calzaghe flail and miss over and over. he didnt clearly win any of those rounds

Joe concentrated more on volume than on accuracy.
