Is anyone here surprised at all? It's the "Name Game!" I call out X, but I know all along I'm fighting Y! Don't get it twisted, I'm not saying Lomachenko is afraid of Linares! It's just that Bob has been killing Nelson (HBO) for a year! He's been just as bad to Oscar De La Hoya forever! I just don't see Linares vs. Lomachenko happening anytime soon! Loma will be fighting Beltran, if he wins!

Yeah, the negotiations are going on between Arum and Honda, if Arum and Honda decide they want the fight to happen then it happens. http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_...liy-lomachenko

but did you also make the points of rigo being a super high boxing iq guy? Lmao. Funny how these "fans" go on and on until they are proven ******ed and then afterwards start over again about another guy and how they called.....? I always heard that doing something the same way over and over again and failing is the definition of insanity

It works though. All last week I heard about Ramirez versus everyone but the chump he was fighting. Boxing fans aren’t that smart.

yet look at what dsab posters sh all over other fighters but are once again busting out the lip balm in anticipation of crowning "him" " the atgreatest " when he once again beats an in house overmatched no hoper while claiming to want/being the best at his weight. This guys so lucky Arum has so much pull with that pos chicken sh outfit the WBO, that's why his very 1st fight was vs some midget bum for his wbo "title",he then lost that "title" vs salido but was allowed to fight for it all over again his next fight vs another tiny overmatched in Russell.

These loma fanbois have brought it on themselves by overhyping loma so much despite him having only faced 2-3 fighters near his size & he lost to 1 of them.
Agree with everything you said man, cant argue there

He has also looked very good since losing to Crawford and then... how to put it... changing up his training. He looks to have somewhat undergone the Badou Jack transformation like how Jack got so much better after hiring Memo Heredia. If you know what I mean.

So, Beltran is possibly enhanced, he's way bigger than Lomachenko, and he has one punch KO power against big lightweights. Lomachenko wasn't even the biggest featherweight when he fought at 126. Beltran could easily fight at 140. So, this fight might not be anywhere near as "lame"' as I once thought. I kept thinking back to Crawford-Beltran but that was before Beltran underwent his transformation, not to mention Crawford is way bigger than Beltran.

This is the problem with modern boxing. True boxers like Lomachenko who don't look for the extra advantage of weight bullying get judged unfairly against the weight bullies. Even I was guilty of that when Loma fought Salido. I was like, "Salido just looked like **** against Mikey Garcia. If Loma doesn't blow him out, he's a hypejob." But I didn't understand that Mikey Garcia was actually a 170 pound dude fighting at 126. Well, 170 now. Maybe back then he was only 155 or 160, fighting at 126. Meanwhile Loma was a 135 pound guy fighting Salido, who weighed 11 pounds more than that in the ring vs him. So OF COURSE the fight took on a completely different complexion.

And now the same thing is happening with Beltran.
In fact the comparisons of Beltran to Salido are many here. We could be in for a surprise if that fight happens. But what I'm saying is you have weight bullies like Crawford draining down from 170 pounds in camp to make 135, then rehydrating back up to 155 in the ring or whatever, and kicking a smaller Beltran's ass, and now Loma is going to be judged by the same standard also fighting Beltran at 135, when Loma is naturally 30 to 40 pounds smaller than Crawford, and much smaller than Beltran as well. And when Beltran is better now than he was then.

Weight bullies are messing the whole game up, and confusing the **** out of fans, because most fans only look at the weight class boxers fight in, they don't do the research to see what their natural weights are, and how much they are ballooning up after the weigh in. It's also like how some people say Pirog was better than GGG because Pirog knocked out Jacobs, and GGG didn't. But if you look at the fight night weights for Jacobs-Pirog, the Jacobs that Pirog fought was about 10 whole pounds lighter in the ring than the one GGG fought. That's over a full weight class. That's 2/3 of the way from middleweight to light heavyweight. If GGG had fought the 170 pound version of Jacobs, instead of the 180 pound version, Jacobs would have been on the floor from the uppercut GGG landed in the 9th round, and he might not have gotten up. He might even have been on the floor from some of the jabs GGG landed. So fans need to stop comparing apples to oranges without first looking at how big these guys REALLY are, instead of just looking at what weight class they compete at. Jarret Hurd fights at 154 but he's bigger than all the middleweights. That's just one of many examples.
Understand all your points, but all boxers and real boxing fans know the rules. It’s a risk reward type deal when you work hard to make weight and then gain some/most of it back in 24 hours or so. Every fighter knows who they are fighting prior to signing that contract. If they both sign, it’s because they both think they can win. Weight gaining from one day to another works for some better than others. I don’t see it the way you do, I’m no casual, i just believe that’s part of boxing and if boxing didn’t want it to be, they’d have fight night weigh ins. So i get your points, but i don’t want to make excuses for anyone who jumps in that ring against another boxer while they are getting Paid very well to do so. If loma signs to fight Beltran it’s because he feels he can win and vice versa, but after saying he’d fight Linares and Mikey, he choses to go for the weakest champ at 35. That’s the whole point here, don’t twist up that fact with all this weight talk, they are professionals, not kids
