If put to the test, Joshua would outsell Wilder in Wilder's home state. I don't blame Wilder for hyping himself, but fact is Wilder is unknown in Alabama, much less in the U.S. He has not made a big impression.

Fight in the States and the ROW has to stay up/get up at silly time in the early hours to watch. In this day and age of worldwide TV it makes far more sense to fight in Europe to maximise potential TV audience. Add the fact that Joshua's live gate will be far larger in the UK and it seems pointless to fight in the USA, if you are already raking it in big at home.
Of course that doesn't account for the dreams all boxers have of topping a New York or Vegas bill so they all quite naturally gravitate to wanting at least one fight over there at some point. Especially so for the right fight. Which this is.
If all goes well we'll have two undefeated HW champions, both with immense power, who have KO'd everyone they have fought. bringing all the titles to the table for total and utter undisputed unification. A first. UK vs. USA.
What's not to like?

Everybody needs to just CTFD
Joshua's doing his thing, Wilder the same. Both involved in quality fights and talking ***** about one another which is great. No ones ducking anyone, they're just maximizing their stake; when they want it to happen, it'll happen.

Stating plain fact makes me an idiot? You sure you don't have emotional problems?

Beating the only other top hw is a pretty good way to get known the world over. And again, ppv's bring in big money in the U.S. Everyone knows this. Do you honestly think if his fights had a million ppv buys in the USA he wouldn't be making double what he makes now? And he does make good money now. But his legacy is being defined as avoiding the one real challenge. And is unknown in the USA.
AJ sells out stadiums, but a million people paying $70-$100 for every fight is a lot more money. But nope, no Wilder for AJ. He doesn't need Wilder. He needs Takam and Miller. lmao.
AJ is a laughingstock already. He is being laughed at and mocked the same as Thurman is for ducking Spence. But hey, he makes $15 mill so why would you want to see him fight the best?
I don't understand why AJ's fans, like you, do not want him to fight Wilder. Are you seriously that scared he will lose? What you destroy you that much, that you don't want to see the two best hw's in the world fight each other?
Get off AJ's c^ck and become a fan of boxing. Real boxing fans want to see the best fight the best. Fanboys want their fav. fighters to fight bums so they can say how great he is.
Every fighter makes "demands" that are negotiated. The difference is AJ is just saying no fight. He's not saying if Wilder does this or agrees to that, he will fight him, he is saying he won't fight Wilder.
I should have stopped reading at the the point where you said that AJ is calling out Jarrell Miller ... but that's damned funny stuff you are coming out with there!
AJ is a laughing stock .. because nobody in the USA knows who he is and instead of making £20 million for unifying with Parker in the UK, he could be selling a million PPVs in the US against another guy who nobody in the States ever heard of .. lmfao! Keep 'em coming buddy!Last edited by kafkod; 02-07-2018, 05:57 PM.

Wilder stars in a very popular cable TV reality show.
Wilder is clearly far more well known in this country than AJ is. Just as AJ is far more well known in his country.
The idea that nobody knows Wilder in the US is pretty silly considering his history as a strong ratings draw. Wilder's knockout of Stiverne went viral and helped make him far more well known as well.
