It's good for letting the mainstream get hyped up about an opponent who isn't already publicly visible in their country.

Doesn't really do anything for us who already closely follow boxing. Usually it just means we have to wait til one fighter is slipping & the fight is no longer interesting other than for settling old bets.

It kinda sounds weird, but, as a fan, I definitely enjoy the build-up and public back-and-forths that come with waiting.

It's hard to say when it becomes too much, but taking two fights in the intermediate period is perfect for me.
