Roy was great, and should've stopped right after he beat Ruiz! Tarver, Glen Johnson, and Calzaghe hurt his legacy, and his Rap game ****** in a major way! SALUTE to the champ! Good Luck in the final fight!

Roy Jones was a highlight reel boxer who could do anything in the ring. However, as far as longevity, Mayweather had a better career.

On the other hand, both of them can claim to be the best. That's what most boxers do best.

Without even knowing it, Roy gives Floyd's claims legitimacy. Roy feels the need to say he's better than Sugar Ray Robinson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Every time a boxer of Roy's caliber keeps Mayweather's name in his mouth among the all-time greats.....Floyd Mayweather Jr wins again.
F.Y.I. there also YouTube clips of Roy being put to sleep. You won't any night-night clips of Sugar Ray Robinson or Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd held 3 of 4 belts at welter the same as Roy at 175 after Manny; didn’t defend them all as long. Also worth noting he won the IBF in 2006 so at some point he held all four. Would have won 3 instead of one from Baldomir but Carlos didn’t keep them all. Also unified partially at 154 (Roy never did in a second class) and would have at 130 but Chico got stripped by the IBF right before thy fought.

I much prefer to remember Roy Jones at 49-1 (38 ko's). Imagine if he would have retired after the first Tarver fight or, better yet, never would have melted off 25 lbs of muscle to fight Tarver in the first place? What could have been.

Roy is a legend no doubt but Floyd has surpassed him. Resume wise & career

Roy Jones ruined his reputation when he keeps fighting way past his prime.

The question who is better??? Would Jones of fought tp controversal wins over someone like Maidana and Castillo???

So true, when he went back down in weight he looked like a deflated balloon, and it really showed in his reflexes.

I mean Roy is telling the truth though. Floyd never came close to getting knocked out cold.
