Damn! Crawford and his weak resume are jealous as hell.

Lomachenko = naturally 140 pounds. Rigondeaux = naturally 128 pounds. Size difference between Loma and Rigo = 12 pounds.

Terence Crawford = naturally 175 pounds at least. Size difference between Crawford and Lomachenko = 35 - 40 pounds.

Lomachenko weighs in at 136 lbs at most fight night. He's a natural 130 lber.

I kinda agree with Crawford that Sosa, Marriaga and Rigondeaux wins ain't no a fighter of the year run.

But neither are Idongo and Felix Diaz as wins...

Would be even more scandalous to fight just twice and get the award with that type of win.

10 years from now we will all remember the legend of indongo and how crawford rose to p4p status after beating a gamboa and indongo. They need to do legendary fights on hbo many years from now regarding the build up to the fight.

The funny thing is he call Sosa a basic fighter, when Sosa just arguably beat Gamboa, his best win, and this without being 20 pounds bigger.

I thought Crawford was smater, I'm quite disappointed.

He beats Linares, Easter, AND Mikey, and unifies at 135, you have an argument. He probably doesn't fight all 3 though.

Crawford beating Thurman and Spence at 147 and becoming undisputed > Loma beating any 2 at 135, and doing the same.


Moot point though. I don't think Loma fights Easter, and I don't think he beats Mikey if they fight, and I think Bud loses to Spence.

Except that Mickey is a much better P4P fighter than Spence.

I've been saying exactly the same things as this for ages & getting flamed regularly by lomasexuals. I agree with Crawford but this isn't going to win him any fans. Unfortunately, it's not the fans that decides these kinds of awards. It's the boxing writers. They're more likely to identify with Lomachenko than Crawford.

I don't think Crawford gets the credit for beating th smaller Lomachenko the same way he got for beating the smaller, much older, inactive Rigondeaux. I could care less if some people gave Rigondeaux a chance. The fight was a mismatch and it didn't even live up to that.

But he would get more credit here than beating Bumdongo.

Crawford said "2 weight categories". He himself was ~3 weight categories bigger if he talked abought unofficial weight in the ring so guess what, he talked about scales on a pre-fight day
