Hopefully he can showcase himself against horn at 147 otherwise to me he is just another American hype job.
I agree with you. I say that Vassil and Terrance are tied for the best fighters in the world. Every will agree, including Terrance, that Vassil is amazing. But Vassil needs a real unquestionable challenge to shut down ALL THE HATERS. Felix Diaz and Gamboa were Crawfords best fights, but Terrance was tooo big for 135 and rehydrated 20 pounds. I wish Vassil would fight two more champions at either 130 or 135. The Linares or Garcia gossip is just wasting time. Indongo was a weak champion, but I cannot say Marriago was good too. So Vassil needs to put his foot down and tell reporters that he will not settle for anything less than a champion, and we all know Vassil could beat them.

Brook lost to a fighter 2-weight divisions above....and was a champion when Spence beat him. Not to mention, Brook BEAT one of the guys that beat Broner.
A win over a guy who lost his last fight by TKO is not a great win.

At least Broner WON his last fight doe.

+ Mickey moved up in weight.

Let's meet in the middle at 135 and to make it fair let's bring in a rehydration clause like Loma did for Rigo and make it happen
Crawford will duck it. He will duck 135 lbs limit and rehydration clause, not Loma per se.

          Is this joke kidding?

Terrence hasn't fought at 135 since November of 2014. That's almost 4 years ago and his next fight is at 147. Meanwhile Loma is teasing the idea of fighting at 135 TODAY, RIGHT NOW.

How could 135 be remotely considered "in the middle"? What kind of drugs or you on? If you're not on drugs, what kind of ****** are you?
Loma had 129 pounds at last weight ins. He is legit 130lbs champion and fighter. The only reason he goes up is because nobody agrees to fight him and not because he became 135 lbs fighter.
So he in fact plans to do his catch-weight step up just to fight any champion.
In fact nobody knows how Loma will look at 135 division and IF Crawford wants any part of Loma he can go down his 5 pounds or at least negotiate to 3 pounds down (137lbs) but he won't. He is afraid of what can Loma do to drained version of him.

If they both take the fight now it's fair.
Crawford is not a 147 pound fighter yet and Loma is not a 135 pound fighter yet because they both haven't fought at those weights
Right so Loma is challenging for 135 right now, calling out Linares. Meanwhile Crawford has fought at 140 for the last 4 years...so he's "outgrown" 135. In fact he's even outgrown 140 as he fights Jeff Horn in a few weeks at 147.

Can you put aside your autism enough to understand this?

I don't know why all these people behave in this manner. You have to think way back in the day, people didn't act like this.

Its really hard to say as most active fighters have a weak resume except for over the hill Pacman and noway hes in the mix. Canelo resume isnt bad. Thurman resume isnt bad. But P4P no.1 type resume? I just dont see it.
You've identified the problem, but that doesnt mean there is no P4P #1. I mean isnt there always? Or are you saying the #1 spot should be left vacant when it's not completely cut and dry? Because honestly even when fighters had good resumes, it still wasnt cut and dry. People gave Floyd the #1 spot over Pacquiao for most of their careers, I can easily argue with that since Pacquiao is naturally smaller than him yet outperformed him vs many of their common opponents, and they never fought in each other's primes so the official result of their fight, at Floyd's best weight btw not Pacquiao's, doesn't automatically negate those points. Its always a debate, is my point.

So I think instead of penalizing Loma, and saying he doesnt deserve it, you should just say, "my personal philosophy is, it should be vacant whenever there's not a clear #1 or when not enough top guys are fighting each other to determine a clear #1, but if I had to put someone #1 right now, and just judge whoever is in the sport right now with the best resume, even if it's not as deep as I would like, then obviously, out of everyone who is there right now, Loma would be #1."

That would be more fair, IMO. Because eye test + resume, it's pretty clear Loma and Usyk have taken a bit of a lead over the pack. Inoue might be the next one in that conversation with his weight jumping and still dominating. But dont just say "Crawford may have no good wins, but Loma only has 4, and that still doesn't compare to the top guys of decades past, so neither deserve it." When you say it that way, it's artificially putting 4 and 0 on the same level, when 4 is actually 4 better than 0, and in this era, 4 is actually a TON more good wins to have. That's like 4 years of work in this era to get 4 good opponents to fight you if you're lucky. GGG couldnt even get 1 his entire prime. Only Usyk has changed that trend because he lucked out with the WBSS, so he got a bunch one after the other. Plus he got one before the WBSS by mandate thanks to I think the WBO, if memory serves, where we got the true #1 vs #2 in the entire division against each other, Usyk vs Glowacki, at both guys peaks. That was excellent and the fight was very solid if you appreciate just how big and powerful cruiserweights are and the amount of skill they were showing at that size, and the amount of leather they put on each other.

But cruiserweight is a little different. I guess it's easier to make best vs best fights in that division, probably because it's the one division where Al Haymon has no top fighters so he can't spoil the party like he does in every other division. In any other divisions, getting 4 top wins, in this era, is actually fantastic, in the time that Loma has done it. I think he only has 13 fights, yet already he beat GRJ, Walters, Rigo, and Linares, plus Jason Sosa coming off his stoppage of Javier Fortuna (remember Fortuna arguably beat Robert Easter Jr up an entire division right before Mikey fought him, once again proving that the HBO side, before it folded, was the major leagues, and PBC is the minor leagues. Even HBO B-sides a division below can compete with PBC A-sides a division above sometimes, something you never see in reverse. On the HBO major league side, someone like Jason Sosa is viewed as a bum. On the PBC side, he's a quality fighter), plus Jose Pedraza at the peak moment and division of Pedraza's career, plus some guy who gave Chris John trouble in only Loma's 1st or 4th fight or something, I forget, plus almost stopping Salido late in his 2nd pro fight, at a 10 lbs weight disadvantage. That should be a feather in Loma's cap as well, not something haters use to make fun of Loma with.

So in only 13 pro fights, like 2/3 of them have been good opposition, almost half have been TOP opposition, and the few that werent quality, like Marriaga, were just because quality guys ducked Loma (that was the date that the Salido rematch was supposed to happen on, but Salido ducked that, he knew what would happen vs a prime Loma at 130 vs a Salido who would actually have to make weight). That's a deserving resume of P4P #1, certainly in this weak era.
