No ... fighting Berto (war), Floyd (school), Kamagi (war), Thurman (beatdown), Martinez (war), Garcia (beatdown), Peralta (lol), Figueroa (beatdown) in succession is what ruined him.

Crossfit is a poor way to train for almost any sport, even Crossfitters don't train using it... Robert Guerrero and Rick Ross really showing those results.

Disagree. When Guerrero moved up in weight from 135 to 147, he got a lot slower and more flat footed. If you look at all his fights at 147, he didn't have a single easy fight. All his fights at 147 were either wars or him getting schooled and beaten down.

You have to go back to 2011 to find Guerrero's last impressive performance.

I remember watching Tarver train for the Hopkins fight and thinking, this is not going to end well. He had some dude named Dudley Pierce as his fitness coach, and the guy was trying all these new age fitness approaches, thinking he was re-creating the wheel or something.

This... crossfit in itself is an excellent form of training.
