8th round KO. Just like Dempsey KO'd Tunny in there 2nd fight. I dont care what the records say.

Tyson was the greatest and most feared fighter to ever walk this planet.

No way was he the greatest.

And he was only scary when he didn't speak. As soon as you hear that light lispy voice saying he's gonna eat your kids you just start pissing yourself with laughter!

Okay. I know you've heard this before; but you're going to hear it again. If you're a fighter and you get caught and dropped, you either...

            A. get up immediately...which isn't wise because you might not be ready to get up like Judah against Tszyu and you'll fall down again, encouraging a stoppage.

            B. look to your corner and let them tell you when to get up....which also isn't the best course of action as Rafael Ruelas found out early in his career when Joe Goosen told him to get off his haunches a second to late and he lost by KO even though it was just a flash knockdown he suffered against Mario Gutierrez.

            or

            C. look at the referee and pick up the count and get your ass off the canvas before the man says TEN.

NEVER...NEVER look at the timekeeper because he's hard to find among all the people at ringside after having your bell rung. The referee is the man to trust. If the ref's a little slow, that's his problem, not the fighter's. Both Tunney and Douglas could have gotten up by the real count of 9. Neither were knocked out...they were stunned and knocked down.

If James were in all that amount of trouble, Mike should have been able to finish him off in Round 9. He tried; and nearly got knocked out in that round himself. Tunney even dropped Dempsey briefly in Round 8 after he got knocked down...did you know that? Douglas got knocked down, got up, and finished the ass kicking he started 7 rounds before. It hurts, I know; but it's the truth.

Been reading some of ur posts, man let me tell u something tyson wouldnt have had a chance in Homles Prime. Tyson even said that after there fight and he wasnt being polite. Homles imo never got enough credit because he was always in the shadow of ali. The man had skills and could fight the best of um. Amazing jab too.

Your delusional, and theres no point in arguing with you.
                You are clueless and ignorant.

If Johnson and Holmes fought it would end just like the Johnson-Willard fight. Never saw Holmes get dropped by one right hand by a 160 lb. fighter lol

Johnson would be a tough test for Larry; but I think Holmes would get a decsion over him. Johnson's style was very defensive and geared for 20 round bouts. I can easily see him falling behind against Holmes.

If by defensive you mean he clinches and then punches you, yeah i guess your right.
He really had no defense and barley ever put his hands up.
