Mikey will not be A side just for beating Lipinets and Linares. Garcia Broner didnt even crack 1 million viewers while Loma was able to get 2 million to watch him fight Rigo. Its no comparison Loma is a much bigger star than Garcia already. Loma has 570k Instagram followers and growing every day and Mikey has less than 150k. Loma will be A side for sure. There are still many good fights for Loma right now. Nobody even knows who Lipinets is, Mikey is going backwards

You said "there are still many good fights for Loma right now," yet you can't say who you feel he would fight next. I don't think Loma's 2 million on ESPN makes him a bigger star than Mikey, anymore than Spence Jr.'s 6 million on NBC, makes him more of a star than Thurman.

Crawford beating an A-/B+ guy like Thurman who is his size or an A- guy like Spence his size would not compare to Lomachenko beating an A- guy in Garcia who is much bigger than him.

Loma moving up to 135 is the same as Thurman moving to 147! I don't see the big difference!

I was fortunate to have lived most of my life in an era when fights were on national networks for free. But time moves on.

I'm 50, so my youth was filled with ABC, NBC, and CBS, and my adulthood has been predominantly HBO and SHO. In any case PPV had gotten way out of hand: exhibit A Ward vs. Kovalev!

He won't go near Garcia.
He didn't even rematch Salido.

Loma didn't want to fight Rigo at a catchweight when he was at 126.

Only when he was at 130 and all risks removed did he take that fight.

Soon as Crawford vacated his belts and moved up to 147 now Garcia wants to challenge for a title. Also now that Loma is talking about moving up to 135 Mikey wants no part of that. Actually the reason Mikey left Top Rank is because he saw the writing on the wall when he knew hed have to fight Loma and Crawford one day. Garcia is a fraud

Flanagan moved to 140, is fighting for a title in April. Beltran is fighting Paulus Moses in February, for the WBO Lightweight title. Finally, Garcia is fighting for the IBF Jr. WW title, and then defending his WBC Lightweight title with Linares in the summer (if he beats Lipinets). So again, who does Loma fight? Floyd and Arum negotiating a fight? LMAO!

Golden Boy and Top Rank have made some fights in recent years. Linares is calling out Loma so I think some good fights could get made. Also Beltran is fighting in February, that would. be enough time to fight Loma in late April. Also Ogawa is most likely available. Top Rank always finds good opponents in the lower weights.
