People fail to realize that the lower weights never really mattered much before Floyd. Yes MW with Hagler, Hearns, and SRL were big, but never anything like it was with Floyd.

Floyd is TBE boxing businessman - hands down. He made WW the glamour division. Before that it was always HW or at least LHW (RJJ, etc).

Neither Loma, Mikey, TC, Spence, or any of those guys have anywhere near the bravado to sell PPVs despite all being terrific fighters. It's just reality.

I mean Floyd's "nemesis" Pac became a PPV star and he's boring as wood. The only reason he sold a single ticket was his connection to Floyd..the guy to finally shut Floyd up!

The current batch of fighters will never be 1.5 million PPV guys because they aren't salesman. Canelo is the last good salesman and Joshua is returning the spotlight to HW.

This has to be one of the dumbest posts I have ever read.
