Porter don't want to fight Spence. He has said himself he rather fight Thurman and Garcia before Spence. He could have had his chance to fight Spence for the title but doesn't want it.

This is true. Porter said, yeah eventually their paths might cross, but I'm going a different direction right now. He wants a fight against pretty much anyone except Spence. I was surprised, as I thought Porter would fight anyone. Garcia is another one that didn't want Spence.

In the meantime, Spence has to focus on Peterson, who pushes everyone and is a good boxer with solid skills. I had Peterson winning against Garcia but it was a close fight.

Let's be honest. Errol Spence may be right, Thurman isn't the golden goose like Floyd but neither is Spence. Both guys can fight other fighters and earn just as much and in Thurman's case more. Errol Spence is a good guy and a great welter weight but he doesn't have a promoter, nobody knows him and he simply doesn't generate enough cash to be needed by anyone. Thurman on the other hand made noise, called out guys, promoted himself and developed a following, the hard way. Thurman also knows (as do others) that Errol Spence (Very much like Paul Williams during Floyd's era) will not be able to continue to make welter weight and will within a year or so be forced to move to Junior middle. IMO, Errol Spence needs a PROMOTER or he'll end up just like Paul Williams...AVOIDED.

JWHardin...You make some solid points. Nobody wants to fight Spence and because he doesn't have the backing of a big name promoter or network he simply doesn't generate enough money to be worth the risk. Sadly, I believe Spence, like Paul Williams will eventually be forced to move up in weight before he'll get a defining fight.

Who can he fight? I think he is a draw didn’t one of his fight have one of the highest rating of the year. No one in PBC wants to fight him. Porter & Garcia don’t want to fight him.He should go to Golden Boy and fight Matthysse.

One boxer seems to be very HUNGRY for this FIGHT one has excuses....he doesnt even have a belt (b4 brook), i have to see what the future holds, warm-up fight, then a contender, then maybe 2021
