LOL at someone questioning Bread's credibility. Bread's a successful boxing trainer with a great writing style. I don't know anyone else who comes close. Bread's classification of punchers is a must read for any boxing fan.Comment

Hey Stephen,
I have to say I am convinced Lomachenko is already better than and has surpassed Mayweather in terms of ability and resume? I know he doesn't have the incredible marketing power and self promotion of Mayweather and on the face of it Lomachenko looks clearly to be the better boxer? Did Mayweather ever envision being eclipsed so soon? Your thoughts?
Aaron
Bread’s Response: You’re a very sick young man. Those are my thoughts. Loma is a special talent but it’s way to early to say he has a better resume than Floyd Mayweather. As far as ability he you may have a better case but you’re still off and here is why. We need to see if that ability carries over vs elite guy after elite guy.
8 years ago Jorge Linares looked to be as good as Alexis Arguello or Salvador Sanchez. But it didn’t turn out that way. You guys have to stop. How are old you? What is your nationality? I am very curious as to what demographic would produce such a skewed opinion.
Thanks Bread! You just made my day!
yea that was brilliant lmaoComment

Before the first Kovalev/Ward fight Breadman did an analysis of both men, and what he thought was going to happen in the fight. He finished by saying his head was telling him Kovalev should beat Ward, but because of a gut feeling, and rumours he'd heard about Kovalev not "living the life" he was picking Ward to win.
I posted a comment saying Bread's gut feeling was nothing but pro American bias - him not wanting to pick against the US establishment fighter - then look what happened in that fight!
I would never dismiss anything Breadman says about the US scene after that. That guy knows what's going on and he tells us as much of it as he can get away with in his mailbag - without betraying anybody's secrets.
with the benefit of hindsight, rate that comment
REAL DUMB, is how I rate it..... to the point of ignorance
that is why we call you an excuse-making fanboyComment

Bread is one of the most credible non biased boxing analyst you will find who also happens to be very knowledgeable. Just because you don’t agree with someone’s opinion it doesn’t make the lose credibility. Who should we believe, a professional boxing trainer or some poster who points out compubox numbers lol. Stop embarrassing yourself, don’t use compubox, go by what you see not by what people or some system tells you what it was... just like bread did... for the record he also said he didn’t think Canelo won the fight... sit downComment

Fanboy? You do realize this "writer" is the trainer of J-Rock Willians right? (Who also has ring experience) He also just chose Derrick James as Trainer of the year after suffering a tough loss to him head-to-head this year. If that's not objective idk what is.
His write-ups are solid work and probably the best thing this site has going. Despite "punch stats" I think we all can agree GGG wasn't landing much solid work in that fight. (And I picked him to win by stoppage.) The only person being a "fanboy" is you.Comment

Go watch the fight! And quit just looking at punch stats
Canelo was landing a VERY unusual high power punch % rate
Are you always this ******?? Or does it take work to be so dumb???Comment
