danny is gonna be avoided and ducked heavily unless hes mandatory. everybody pressured ward to rematch kovalev but ggg can finish his career without running it back with danny and nobody will give a sht.

Neither one of these guys are popular sales and neither guy has a great resume! Danny's career highlights are Quillin & a GGG defeat which is nothing to brag about. Saunders highlights are Eubanks Jr many years ago & Lemiuex which is nothing to brag about also. At the moment, Saunders has one up on Jacobs because of the title but the U.S. market will pay these guys more! Anyways, I doubt it every happens.

          Jacobs is a light heavyweight!

I think its time for the weight in the morning of the FIGHT!

Jacobs had the height the reach & the 20/25 lbs.

And GGG beat him..Jacobs gave away a belt so not to show his weight!

Look Jacobs at the least should be fighting at Super Middle weight.

This is not about Jacobs this is that fat L'il red Head Caneelo Too

Fight at your weight..Weigh in the day of the fight!

So BJS is asking for 6M plus the fight to be in the UK? Far more than he's worth but with the big payday he's waiting on later in the year I can see why.

Really it just depends on how much Hearn is willing to pay. The situation could play out different ways, he could overpay here but then make it back if Jacobs faces GGG/Canelo winner afterwards and wins. Plus Hearn signed Jacobs to help his company break the US market, so there's extra incentive because it's not like he has a lot of alternatives to make a big fight/develop a star for the USA arm of his company (until AJ crosses the pond). Whether or not he can boost DJ's popularity, get him the fight with the GGG/Canelo winner could hinge on if he can get that WBO belt. It's risky though because we could end up getting GGG/Canelo 3 in September or the winner could decide they want to face Charlo or Murata or whoever.

If I was Hearn though I'd overpay Saunders to go to New York. Easy to say as it's not my money but it just seems the smarter long-term option. The way he is complaining in interviews every day about how Parker/Fury/Wilder are asking for too much suggests he'll be a tight cunt in negotiations and not get it done but I just don't see how any of the alternatives are that attractive for DJ's career. Even if he faces a top 10 opponent next and looks good winning, it might not get him any closer to that big fight or a belt.

Exactly. I see a fight against Martin Murray or an Andy Lee rematch happening next. Those will probably represent the best options BJS would be willing to choose.

Saunders will make more money rematching Eubank.

Pointless fight for Jacobs to pursue. Especially if he has that A-side mentality, just like in the GGG fight.

You won't get to dictate anything from a BJS fight.

                Take it or leave it.

DJ has two options. Take whatever BJS might actually offer him if it ever happens, or face reality and realise it’s time to cull the contender competition and start calling out Charlo, devrenchencko, Andrade, etc and work his way up to a potential title shot. DJ had his shot at glory and muffed it. Now starts the long climb back up the ladder my friend. After reading the various posts and threads lately, there seems to be the feeling that DJ is a high risk /low reward fight for Saunders, even I’ve been inclined to think along the same lines from a BJS standpoint, yet I have a feeling should these two meet in the ring in the near future, Saunders might just put a another el in DJs record. Jacobs may be trying to bite off more than he can chew. This will only up BJS stock all the more.

What happened to the WBO ordering BJS to fight 2 mandatory challengers in a row? Lemieux is one. Canelo is rated #1 and Andrade will move up to #2 since Lemieux lost. If Canelo fights GGG then BJS should be ordered to fight Andrade
