I don't really disagree with anything Connolly said

    problem is this.....

    1) Saunders has options
    2) Connolly did not make an attractive fight proposal

and, I will add in a third.....

    3) if your name aint Canelo or Golovkin, then you will be travelling to the UK to fight BJS..... especially if you are promoted by Eddie Hearn

Look Jacobs at the least should be fighting at Super Middle weight.

This is not about Jacobs this is that fat L'il red Head Caneelo Too

Fight at your weight..Weigh in the day of the fight!

I guarantee, win lose or draw..... you would not hear Saunders crying about the weight..... like Golovkin fans

Unfortunately, Canelo being the sole cash cow of the division is going to prevent alot of good fights from happening since everyone at the top of the 160lbs division is somewhat of a threat to one another. They will all be somewhat reluctant to risk their golden ticket once they feel their number is close to being drawn by Canelo!

Great fight, the WBC mando would be up for grabs aswell... I don't get why Jacobs is in a "prime position" to fight canelo-ggg winner, I would say atm Saunders and charlo are both in better positions to face ggg-canelo

I would be very, very surprised if Canelo/Saunders ever happened.

Styles make fights, and Saunders style is all wrong for Canelo. Canelo can't cut the ring off and we just saw that if you can't do that with Saunders, he can dance around you all night. The fight could be a stinker - GB have already stated as much, and they're not wrong. The last thing Canelo needs is a stinker on PPV where he gets another disputed points decision (or even loses), and the chances of that happening with Saunders are too high for GB to go chasing the fight with the amount of money Saunders wants.

Canelo doesn't need belts to keep selling, so the WBO strap is of marginal value. There is as much chance of Canelo fighting Saunders as there is of him fighting Lara again.

If Canelo beats Golovkin next time out, I'm betting Golovkin retires. Else if its close again, we get to see a third fight - basically Canelo keeps fighting Golovkin until he either wins or loses badly. That's Saunders only hope - that Golovkin wins decisively, as the WBO strap is worth something to Golovkin while he has the other belts.

Saunders might indeed have to go back to fighting domestically again, or get someone like Murata over to the UK as his style is perfect for Saunders.
