85-0-69 with 40 ko's in the 1st round. 396 wins, how many of those were JO fights? I don't count little kid fights. Looking at Lomo's Am's championship fights and don't see a single name that rings a bell.

Russia is a pretty corrupt place to the point they've been kicked out of the Olympics. I've questioned these Russian Am fighters records for years now, nothing to do with Lomo.
Again, your lying about Robinson. He lost twice under his original name Walker Smith.

The names Jose Ramirez, Oscar Valdez, Felix Verdejo don't ring a bell? They've done alright so far as pro's and then you've got Gold Medal winner Robson Conceicao and top amateurs Yasniel Toledo and Albert Selimov who had credentialed amateur careers.

Maybe someone in the Ukraine will be inspired because of Loma and his father and they will get to work to have the same success.

The best amateur fighter post-Loma, in my opinion, is Daniyar Yeleussinov of Kazakhstan.
Hopefully we see him going professional.
I'm going with Robeisy Ramirez, but i have La Cruz and Yeleussinov as second choices.

I have no problem with that. I personally think Yeleussinov is the most talented amateur fighter post-Loma.
La Cruz is really talented but sloppy. That's why he finds himself on the canvas a lot of times.
Robeisy Ramirez has shown more vulnerabilities than Yeleussinov, in my opinion, that's why I would take Yeleussinov over him.

        I would rank them:
        1. Daniyar Yeleussinov
        2. Robeisy Ramirez
        3. Julio La Cruz

La Cruz is probably the most of accomplished of the three though.

Someone needs to sign Yeleussinov for real. He easily beat Josh Kelly at the Olympics and we all see the amount of hype Kelly is getting.

IMO Robeisy has something that you need to be a great fighter, and that's being able to beat your opponent at what he does best, he can fight at all the three distances and he is pretty much all rounded, when i see Rigo, Lara and Gamboa, they all go shy when the fight is not going where they want, Robeisy actually fights your fight and beats you there.
Yeleussinov is a top guy, Rabii is looking great as a pro, Kelly is looking great as a pro and Giyasov will probably do well, but somehow he is the one still in the amateurs, he did everything already, he needs to go pro before the olympics, after that i think it will be a little too late.
And La Cruz is probably past his prime already, he is fighting at 91 kg and i don't think he will win the gold in Tokyo unless the category is extremely weak, either 81 or 91.

I would like a closer look at his record as well. Not sure I believe all of the Russian fighters with 350+ wins floating around considering how much bullcrap comes out of Russia.
I dare you tell this to any featherweight..your fights aint counting, you guys are too small.

            makes sense...ok)

on other hand about eastern eu school - bring anyone you got to ukraine and youll get schooled, most likely. training here and there is totally different. wether you trust "Russia" or not, you aint got anyone. period.....all your future fighters are going to be ****** heritage.

unless you are from great America.

Robeisy Ramirez is definitely well rounded. It would so much fun watching this guy as a pro. Shame it probably won't happen. I'm personally not very high on Michael Conlan nor Shakur Stevenson. Neither guy seems to have that "It" factor about them.
I don't think Ramirez is as talented as Rigo though. Rigo will be seen as a joke now, but Rigo is the first boxer that truly amazed me when I watched him.

Maybe Yeleussinov just needs the right team to he be interested in going pro.
Egis Klimas should really try to get himself that sort of talent.
Yeleussinov could fight for a title within his first 10 fights; probably 5-8 fights I would say.
He would also fight at Welterweight, very marketable weight class.
You would think people would be racing/fighting to sign this guy up.
And the Welterweight division is looking good for the future with the good amateur boxers that have gone pro:
Rabii, Kelly, now Giyasov. Pat McCormack will probably go pro soon as well.
Just imagine Yeleussinov, Rabii, Kelly, Giyasov, McCormack at Welterweight. That would be insane.
Of course he have to see how they all do in the pros once they step up.

It looks like Cuba is going to test out their new young gun, Osvari Morrel, at 81kg.
It's going to be interesting to see how La Cruz does at 91kg.
