No promoter/manager would put Davis in with Loma right now, especially given the fact Davis has a good base in Baltimore that it looks like they can develop.

Everyone knows Davis should be fighting Salido, Macahado or Roman since all would be a step up from his last fight.

Now that Davis isn't holding a title in Loma's division, Floyd's position shouldn't really be attracting flack. But he has a habit of coming out with statements that are contradictory on their own terms, and give the impression of a man who wants to have his cake and eat it at the same time.

"If Loma is so great, why doesn't he fight Garcia?" Begs the question - If Loma isn't so great, what's the problem with Davis fighting him?

Another example was when Ward was talking about moving up to fight Kovalev: "Ward is the P4P king, GGG is a hype job. So instead of Ward moving up for Kovalev, GGG should move up for Ward"
