exactly, you fight the best. period.

but you get people like that who are ok this bs like this, and this is why boxing sucks. you have idiots who are willing to see the best, not fight the best, and then "wait" for it to finally happen.

what other sport allows a champion to fight chumps.

imagine the golden state warriors sitting out and just facing the sacramento kings of the league all the time.

Lol at people saying Davis is too young etc... Stfu and fight. If you have or had a title then it means it's you should at least talk about near future fight with other titlists

Berchelt was committed to fighting Salido and then got injured and said he wants a tune-up early in the year.

I don't think Berchelt has been an option as of yet.

We get it, **** ass fuckstains like you that are still upset Floyd is undefeated want his fighter to lose so you can celebrate. If the situation was reversed, you'd be saying Loma is too green, why do it now.

Floyd is going to build his fighter the way he sees fit.
Weren't you getting all up in arms yesterday about perceived racism yesterday and calling for bans and then you make a ****phobic slur about someone you can't prove is gay.

Last I checked I didn't say anything racist yet what you've said is a hateful ****phobic slur due to a simple disagreement over an opinion.

It's ok to call a fighter out if you feel they are running their mouth and ducking a legitimate opponent.

First, Lomachenko's corner didn't demand a rehydration limit after he MISSED weight (arrogance or inexperience). Then the referee didn't stop Salido from hitting him on the nuts the entire fight.

Even after all that, Loma almost stopped him in the 12th.
im not confused, hes improved considerably since that fight.

I don't recall calling you a racist. I posted that you couldn't prove the 80% figure you gave. So, while you are not being honest about what I posted, you make a fair point. For the record, you shouldn't separate the **** from the fu-kstain.

Yes it is ok. In this case we all know Davis isn't the best 130lber, Berchelt and Loma are. So if the best should fight the best, they should fight, Davis should fight Machado, and then the winners should fight.

                Correct or not?

Sometimes, some are true, and some aren't. Clearly, Floyd is hiding Tank from Loma. On the other hand, there is zero evidence that Arum is hiding Loma from Mikey, and in fact both Loma and Arum have said publicly that they want that fight. Good luck finding an interview of Floyd where he says he wants to make Lomachenko-Tank. That's the difference, and it's a key one.
Sure sure. We've never seen this is boxing. This is a first. There is no way Arum or Floyd or Haymon/Garcia could be building up to a major fight between 3 potential big stars. No clearly its fear.

He and Loma are the best 130lbers right? Yes, so they should fight.

The point posters that hate Floyd keep trying to avoid is we all know Davis v Loma right now is a mismatch. So what would Davis be proving by fighting him?

We saw with Lubin/Charlo what can happen when a good young boxer poised for stardom who has little to no experience against top tier fighters (even though they beat a few ranked guys and held a belt) is rushed too fast in with a top tier experienced champion.

Floyd doesn't want to make the same mistake. If this was any other promoter people would likely not be as critical.

I agree but it's not like it's going to be easy making a Berchelt fight since he's got a tune-up after his injury in February and is committed to facing Roman so he'd be unavailable for a Loma fight until the end of 2018. Davis is free now and has no opponent so you should always seek the best available opponent should you not?

I do agree with the sentiment that it's a gross mismatch and I think it was more a case of Lomachenko responding to Davis' trash talk and bravado and Mayweather's dismissive attitude.

People are critical due to the nature of Mayweather's attacks and hype of his own fighter (which is fine as that's his job and he absolutely should hype his kid). If Lomachenko is as unimpressive as Mayweather suggests then surely pit your guy against him since it's probably the best available fight/event and money maker for both guys in the first quarter of 2018.
