Comments Thread For: Joshua: When Parker Comes To His Senses, Fight Will Happen

There is still a stalemate in the ongoing negotiations to finalize a unification fight between IBF, WBA, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBO champion Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs). The two sides have been negotiating for several weeks, but they are now stuck at a 65-35 split in favor of Joshua. The British superstar is not satisfied with that amount and wants a bigger slice of the pie.

Joshua is a greedy piece of crap. 65-35 in his favour and he wants more. Just wants to hand pick easy fights like takam, and has no respect for anyone else making their living in the same sport

Parker holds a belt, but no one but die-hard fans have even heard of him. And that's fans of the sport, not Parker. He's lucky to get a bowl of soup offered to him.

You're going to be waiting a while, both Parker and Wilder are delusional. They're 1 Mill dollar fighters thinking they're worth 10 to 15 Mill for the fight.

How anyone can argue for Parker and Wilder is beyond me. But hey, people will do anything to **** on AJ. There are some seriously poisonous people on this forum who will use anything they can to smear him. It's pathetic.

I agree that press conference was weak sauce.

AJ.....’What they’re offering is nothing and what we are offering is ten times more than they can bring up themselves’.

Sums it up pretty well. Why do all you ******s think AJ and Hearn owe everyone a living.

He's right that the press conference was weak, amateurish stuff but pretty naive to expect boxers to be as polite and respectful as F1 drivers. Parker talking shit is fair enough, he just needs to be better at it.
