Parker is such a boxing nobody outside of new zealand (Population 3 million humans, 73 million sheep) that his last fight had to be released live over youtube! People should think about this and agree that even 25% is far far more than he deserves.

Parker has a belt, yes. But what kind of value has he added to the belt via his defenses and self promotion? If the fight is worth 30 million, 30% is 9m. If I'm team parker and confident in my man, I take that...and maybe 25% . Other revenue streams will do better because of magnitude of the fight. All the tv money from the south pacific/Asia area, etc.

I could see 70/30, but yeah 65-35 is the borderline of 'fair'. Joshua is by far the big draw here, and Parker should wake up to that fact. His small promotion company people just need to wake up too. If they believe in their guy, they should know the money that will come after the fight if he wins. Sounds more like they know they'll likely lose. Shame there's a stall here. This could be a great fight for the fans. Hope it gets settled soon.
I agree; the insistence on a big payday in their first big fight suggests little confidence in their fighter. They act like there is no future after Joshua. If Parker wants to bolster his negotiating position, he needs to face and beat some more notable opponents first.

Yep, exactly. A Povetkin, Ortiz etc win would do wonders for his notoriety.
