Everyone including dumbazz Loefler knows Canelo fights on May and Sept. GGG is the B side so he has no choice but to sit and wait. Just like he did after the Jacobs fight when he already had an agreement to fight Saunders. He had that deal in place weeks before even though he already knew that fight could jeopardized him landing the Canelo fight in Sept. But he barely sc****d out that win and many fans felt he lost that Jacobs fight and he made peanuts for it. That fight spooked K2 and they decided no more high risk low reward fights. They dumped the Saunders fight with no agreement from Canelo and sat and waited for Canelo/Chavez and then sat out the entire summer to land the mega fight in Sept. Sure GGG could decide not to wait around for the rematch in May. Go ahead and rematch Jacobs a fight that did not sell PPVs and only gained GGG a 2M payday. Or go and fight Charlo or anyone of your mandatories in a fight that probably doesn't even land on PPV. Any one of those fights are high risk fights that GGG could lose and if that happens you can kiss the Canelo rematch payday good bye. Canelo in May is guaranteed 4X more then he can get fighting anyone else. He would be an idiot to take another fight that could risk that.

Exactly! And I don't mind him going that route.
I just don't want to read weekly headlines of K2 complaining about GBP "stalling" the rematch. K2 has made its bed, now lay in it!

Canelo just made 20M and sold over 1M PPVs this year in a fight that had nothing to do with GGG. Ignoring Chavez and the other countless examples of big PPV sales on Canelo's resume and cherry picking his worst fight against Smith a dude who's never fought on US soil or on US TV and STILL it was on PPV and did 250-300K PPVs depending on the source you go by. GGG would cut off his nuts if he could do those numbers against anybody. GGG's did PPV did 97K-150K (depending on the source you go by) and slightly better then that his second PPV both fights against well known fighters who have headlined many HBO/Showtime cards in the US. Canelo fights anybody next who have headlined in the US before and does 500K minimum. And if you have the right opponent does 1M like we just saw with Chavez. GGG will NEVER see these type of numbers and K2 knows it. So they have no choice but to sit and wait. There is no debate on who is the draw here.

The fight isn't happening until May at the earliest anyway it just turned Dec. They have tons of time, Canelo/Chavez wasn't agreed until Mid of Jan. Floyd/Pac wasn't agreed until end of Feb both those fights happened on Cinco De Mayo just like Canelo/GGG rematch will be.

This is business it's in nobodies best interest to announce a rematch deal now. It undercuts GPB/Warren's fight they are trying to promote. Hell HBO wouldn't be happy either as they are airing BJS/Lemieux in a few weeks. They are leaving it out there that hey the winner of this fight "could" fight Canelo/GGG next so come watch. How many times you want to bet HBO announcers will bring up Canelo and GGG during their broadcast. Golden Boy will wait until this fight is over because even if only a few handful extra fans watch the Lemiexu fight because of it it's a win. And after the fight they will use the winner as leverage against GGG to get the rematch signed at favorable number. If GGG prices himself out they will threaten ok we will fight lemieux or offer Warren more money for Canelo/Saunders then GGG can offer Saunders. So GGG will have no choice but to agree to the rematch at the financial terms Canelo gives him.

There is no real source for 97k. All reputable sources (Yahoo, ESPN etc.) put GGG's lowest ppv at around 150k.

Your focus is elementary. Look at the WBO rankings at 160. Canelo will fight BJS anyways for the WBO should Lemieux lose.

I already made a thread before that I don't understand how people are rubbing off BJS to win, I say BJS will beat Lemieux on a close card. All he gotta do is box and move as he normally does.

Don'T you see that Warren and Oscar like the current road path? BJS is expected to win! Which is good news for you, then you can finally ride with BJS vs Canelo, because apparently you're focusing on Lemieux...
You blocked me from posting in your bull**** threads because you didn't like me tossing truth bombs into them and taking the piss out of your ******ity.

You love winding people up and annoying them, but you spit your dummy and sulk like a baby when somebody does the same thing to you.

ESPN literally just reports what the promoters tell them. But if we go by that then Canelo/Smith did 300K buys as reported by ESPN and others. Yet folks like yourself take "other" sources to lower Canelo's numbers but then take the highest reported number from GGG's promoter as gospel? Be consistent. Like I said pick whatever source you want and if you consistent with that same source Canelo's worst fight did basically double GGG's best fight it's that simple. Stop playing games to try and act like these 2 are on the same level as PPV draws comparing GGG's best to Canelo's worst and on top of that taking the ESPN numbers from GGG but not comparing to the ESPN numbers from Canelo. And even when you do that non sense Canelo's numbers were still better. lol

I disagree with this. Using a fight to publicise future match-ups is something promoters and HBO do all the time. I presume they do it because they know it attracts viewers, rather than turning them off.

Add this to your long list of L's you've taken, only a ****** would disagree that more people watch a fighters fight if the #1 ppv cashcow is supposedly waiting to fight the winner. Thats why pac would mention mayweather every single time he was fighting then afterwards would keep having excuses why the fight couldn't happen. Are you ever willing to admit your wrong about anything? Or are you that full of your own shît from when u last pumped yourself full of it?
