I have confidence Loeffler will be able to work out the rematch with Golden Boy. Canelo knows he lost that fight so he’s probably not so anxious to get back in the ring with GGG, but that’s Canelos biggest payday so they will work it out. Canelo should be better prepared for the rematch after going 12 rounds with GGG. He lost 8 rounds last time this time it should be a closer fight unless GGG lands a KO punch

Trip G seems to be a fighter that is better the more active he is. 8 months between fights would be the longest he has ever gone, if memory serves. He sure should not wait to much past the turn of the year to get something in writing and get training.

The first was a great fight, but I worry a rematch might see the 2 of them more cautious against each other. Trip G needs to be more active as he has seen a jab first style may control the fight but won't get the points victory. Alvarez has seen that his inactivity against the ropes looking for counter punching was kind of dumb and if Trip G been any more active would have lost a fight he is completely capable of winning. You would THINK that would inspire 2 real fighters to be more active. But I bet it will lead to both boxers trying to wait out a big shot and force the other into making a mistake.

GGG could easily beat that record with a Canelo win and fighting Lemiuex or Suanders. Or he could fight his other mandatories. Andrade didn’t want a tough fight at 160. Charlo couldn’t spark a hobbled fighter. And GGG already beat Jacobs. And neither of them will be able to force him into taking bad deals. If I’m GGG, these guys will be test8ng for 6 months before they get a shot at me.
