If Lara, the Charlo brothers, Jacobs, Andrade all found themselves in GGG's position all would hold out to see if they could get that Canelo fight. So I don't think people should crap on GGG for not wanting to risk it. I just think he's being played. I guarantee that if Lemieux beats Saunders he'll be Canelo's next fight.
I have BJS beatinig Lemieux coming with his A game. People don'T realize that Canelo been waiting for the 160 WBO ever since they beat Smith at 154. The opportunity was always there. OScar and Warren are know BJS will have the edge to beat Lemieux. So Warren is cashing big for Box Nation branding with BJS getting two big fights.. K2 doesn't like this, but Oscar and Warren simply make more revenue than what Loeffler believes to be talking at the table.

Tom and Lil'G need to think different paths. Chasing Canelo at this point does nothing to his legacy other than getting sparked again or rather worse the second time. As everybody coins GGG just wants to cash out... they donT believe in his ability anywhere. How is Canelo synonimous to Golovkin? That's ridiculous, but karma will have the edge at the end

Loeffler trying to make a headline here, he knows damn well that GBP would wait for the BJS-Lemieux outcome before committing to a GGG rematch!

Why not? Wouldn'T you? Canelo Alvarez has Mexican dates. So in those slots for 2018 are who? Obviously Golovkin it all goes to plan. The worst thing that will happen to GBP is if Golovkin loses to someone like Charlo..maybe... because the masterplan is for Alvarez to acquire the WBO in May and then have super unification in September for all the marbles with the opportunity for Golovkin to beat Bhops record officially.

Sept. Unification for Undisputed is the biggest fight in boxing, bigger than Wilder vs Joshua

You are wrong on pretty much everything here. Beating Canelo definitively will boost his legacy a lot because of Canelo's accomplishments and popularity. He almost did it once already.

That I can agree with. Whether one feels that GGG was carefully built up or not, GGG did beat up everyone who was put in front of him in order to one day get the "big money fight". Now that he has "made it" to the Top, I can't blame him for holding out for another payday. As seen first in the Jacobs fight, we now know that GGG's skills at 160 is alot closer to the top of the pack that HBO and co tried to sell us years ago. Therefore, at 35, GGG can't go out there and risk a Canelo payday against one of these hungry lions out there (he probably still beats all of them but why risk it).
That being said, if you decide to wait, it means that you agree to play by the A-side rules which means right now, waiting for the BJS vs Lemieux outcome.

Golovkin has nothing to worry about. The target date is September. Meanwhile, Golovkin should take a mid level fight or two before September. Golovkin still has 3 straps. He should continue defending and beat bhops' record before Sept. It isn't rocket science. When the time comes both Nelo vs GGG 2 will happen for Undisputed Unification. I don't see GGG fighting Charlo, and the WBC will help that, plus GBP wouldn'T want GGG to lose other than to Canelo in Sept.

They've already provided the help by creating that interim belt for Charlo and Centeno to fight for. At this point, I'm not even mad at the sanctioning bodies removing hurdles in order to have the rematch happen. I don't mind GGG taking soft touches until the rematch (sure I wouldn't mind seeing GGG vs Jacobs or Charlo or preferably Jacobs vs Charlo). However, if GGG's camp decides to wait for the rematch: while the A-side handles its business, sit your ass on the sidelines, shut up and wait!

no no. GGG shouldnt fight Jacobs. That would be very risky for Golovkin asny GGG was already waiting the initial Danny fight to happen. Golovkin's achilles' heel is inactivity at this age. If he fights Jacobs next I expect to be disastrous in affecting the Sept Canelo rematch. It could be a Haymon & Hearn vs GBP war of more ****** halts in negotiation like Joshua vs Wilder...
