They are either working on making the fight and it will be announced soon, or deontays bluff got called and he tucked his tail.
We all know how this cycle works by now (except his fans ) he will wait until a Parker fight is officially signed then he will come out of the shadows again and claimed Joshua DUCKED him and say Hearn protected him.

I dont believe the fight would happen until summer anyway bc Joshua wants it in the U.K 90,000 venue stability but Wilder is going to make it out like Joshua ran right after the Parker fight is signed watch .

Why turn down career high money for easy work? Makes no sense.

And who says Hearn is the one holding things up?

Wilder is demanding a 50/50 split with AJ. Do you think Hearn should give him 50% of all the money that would come in from AJ's fans, not Wilder's?

If GGG had demanded a 50/50 split with Canelo, and Oscar had said "No way", would you have blamed Oscar for holding up that fight?
Because Hearn says so and while Wilder may say 50/50 that is a starting point you always start high. Wilder can never get 50/50 because there is no way he or his people expect to get parity with Joshua from the UK, so even if Wilder wants 60/40 from the US revenue the is not making it 50/50 in the end most likely. Still you can't get what you don't ask for and Wilder will eventually accept a very large sum of money but he won't get 50/50 and everyone including him knows that.

So it is just a talking point right now.

Because he doesn't want to be played with by Hearn? Wilder is doing well enough that while he is certainly giving up cash he is not going to be hurting in his next fight. Plus like I said he will never get close to parity with Joshua in the UK so fighting a guy like Whyte is pointless because Wilder's money will mostly come from the US not the scraps Joshua gives him from the UK, so he needs to build himself even more here. If he can build his profile enough that couple million he is sacrificing now will be chump change compared to what he pulls in the Joshua fight. Sacrificing short term gain for long term gain~

Still I would say fight Whyte and just take the money because boxing you should almost always take the money, but whatever his career and plan not mine. Plans and heavyweight boxing are not generally a good mix though historically.

That useless lump Stiverne didn't deserve to be in the top 50 world heavies, let alone number 1.
I agree with you about Stiverne. But what has Whyte ever done to be regarded as such a good win for Wilder? He’s just an ordinary fighter. There’s nothing dynamic about him at all.

It’s about control. They see Whyte as a pawn in Hearns little game of chess. And they don’t want to be used by Hearn IMO. There’s definitely a lack of trust between the two sides. Hearn already has Joshua, who is the star, and that gives him leverage. Wilders camp is just trying to maintain what little control they have.

Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

They shouldn't have ****ed up then those fights would have already occurred~
True, he doesn't have to, but he's a fighter & if they're clean, why not? Doesn't matter, because if and when he fights an actual top guy, he's done. It doesn't have to be Ortiz or Povetkin. Hell, I bet he doesn't even have the balls to fight Bryant Jennings, who would give him a good fight.

Which ones? Not some alphabet top 20.

Maybe Duhaupas or Szpilka creeped into top 20 . Who else?

**** is ****ing ****** to begin with. Why should he fight White when he has been champion for a few years now and what has White done to begin with? Sounds like a lot of bull**** coming from Hearn. Unify the belts already. They just wanna milk Joshua for all his worth.

Bryant Jennings who hasn't fought anyone in like 4 years? And was never that good in the first place, no better than dudes Wilder beat because he was never a true contender.

Yea saying something like that doesn't make you look like you have the faintest clue what you are talking about.

Yes he's been champion for years and hasn't fought anyone as good as Whyte. Doesn't matter how easy YOU think he'd win, if Wilder believed the same he'd be all over it.
