Hearn Confirms Deontay Wilder Doesn't Want Whyte Fight Even If AJ Is On The Contact

Like it or not Wilder is going to have to accept a flat fee or a lower percentage if AJ has the WBO belt too, ain’t like Joshua ain’t got other options either and if Hearn signs his cash cow up to HBO Wilder is likely going to miss the payday all together before losing the title to someone like Ortiz.

I'd really be surprised if Wilder actually faced him.

The most like guy is Breazeale who is currently top ten which is laughable because the guy is a total stiff, but there is history and two Americans with bad blood can be sold and the ending is likely to be a nasty one for Breazeale. the other option would be Ortiz which is more challenging and probably doesn't pay much better and only improves his q-rating with hard core fans. Most anyone would choose Breazeale in that situation because he probably offer the best **** for the buck for setting up a Joshua fight.Last edited by yankees7448; 12-01-2017, 04:32 PM.

Wilder hasnt even fought a power puncher yet .At least Breazeale brings that and ability to take one to land one and we ALL seen Wilder rattled by far less smaller guys .
If Joshua had Wilders resume they would have a field day .

Ortiz would obviously provide the stiffest challenge of the lot and would gain Wilder the most respect.
The question is does he need to chase respect at the moment because if he is one fight from Joshua all the respect he needs in on the horizon and Ortiz will probably still be around after. If Joshua is further off than one fight then Wilder is going to have to see Ortiz more than likely to keep his relevance high.
I just hope they come back quick whatever they do, Wilder doesn't need much of a rest and should be able to get back at it right after the holidays.

He is an emotional guy, who fights with pride, passion, and a lot of heart just, like Wilder, and I think that makes him a dangerous opponent for Deontay.
I would favour Wilder to beat Whyte, because he has more power, but it would be a wild, brawling shoot-out if they ever got it on, and anything can happen in fights like that between HWs.
