That makes VADA/WBC testing a JOKE basically! Even if you get caught what is the worst that can happen? You get suspended for the same amount of time you take off in between fights anyway.

That being said, I still want Wilder vs Ortiz! Order Ortiz vs Whyte for a Eliminator or Interim or something don't just give him back his 1 Contender Status and don't just give it to Whyte!

Let's assume the Conte assessment is true and this is only a matter of Ortiz's people not disclosing his meds on the form. Let's also assume that Conte's claim that there was no evidence of PEDs in Ortiz's system is true. The WBC bought it and declined to suspend Ortiz. Why then should he suffer a ranking penalty?

Ortiz was never no 1 with the WBC, Wilder fight was a voluntary. Think he was 3 or 4 before this all happened, 3 now, Breazeale and Whyte are ahead of him as they fought eliminators.

My point is that whatever his ranking is, it shouldn't suffer because of this.

Depends if you think hes lying or not. WBC dont think hes lying, ranking hasnt been affected, and guess theyll order an eliminator for him.

WBA do think hes lying, dropped him from their rankings and given him a year ban, as his previous failed test was on a WBA sanctioned fight

That's what I'm talking about! The WBA alluded to suspending Ortiz because he got popped before. Each case has to be dealt with objectively and fairly. They can't punish the guy for this event just because he failed before. They need to investigate it further and gather all of the facts. If I'm Ortiz and can prove that my medication was the culprit and my sample showed no actual evidence of PEDs, I'm filing a suit against the WBA.

Sulaiman informed ESPN Deportes that his organization will not suspend Ortiz and the boxer will retain his number 3 ranking in the top ten, "because we rreely rreely nee hees mohnee. Joo no, evr sens Chavez retayer...de gud Chavez, not de pendejo whu ees de son, evr sens hee retayer, we ben en da chet kreek an astrahgalen'

The next step, says Sulaiman, is to have a series of exams to ensure Ortiz is healthy enough to fight, and then the WBC will monitor Ortiz's future drug tests. "ees okey, ay feex evryting!", said a non-chalant Sulaiman.

However, Ortiz did not dodge every bullet.
As reported three weeks ago by BoxingScene.com, the World Boxing Association (WBA) suspended Ortiz for one year for the failed drug test. Sulaiman was furious, "ey jes whuu da **** du dose putos tink dey arr, eh? dey don no chet abow boxeen!"

                .

this is why boxing gets no respect in the mainstream. it's already known as the most corrupt sport and things like this dont help that perception. this is a serial drug cheat constantly getting passes when he shouldn't even be licensed to box. blood pressure my a** those pills are masking agents. all he had to do was tell VADA about those meds and the wilder fight happens. they kept it hidden for a reason they thought they would sqeak by unnoticed. wilder should never entertain this clown again.

"He tested positive for two banned diuretics that are commonly used as masking agents for performance-enhancing drug use."
