High blood pressure medication. lol. It's amazing how many asthmatics and fighters with 'high blood pressure' there is. Who would have thought that so many elite level power athletes would have the same medicine cabinet as an 80 year man.... Ffs just bring in the mma drug rules and be done with it already. Specifically the 4.1 rule where you're basically allowed to pump 4 times the amount of testosterone into you that you would be expected to have.
We're not ******, we all know everybody is taking them anyway including Wilder.
The NFL and their concussions looks like the common cold compared to boxing and their all the sudden EPIDEMIC heart problems/high blood pressure.Comment

Yeah, this stinks. I might have given Ortiz the benefit of the doubt had this been the first time, but you expect me to buy this garbage after he already got caught and served a drugs ban already? I don't trust like that, no matter what excuse they roll out.
Obviously Suleiman wants to keep his big money fights intact so he can get those sweet sanctioning fees, and figures he can make do with Ortiz v Wilder if Wilder doesn't fight Joshua next.
Every single headline to do with drugs and the WBC has sent a clear message about their stance on cheaters: "We don't really care, we'll help sweep it under the rug and prop up any BS excuse if it means we can keep the cash flowing." I used to think the WBC belt was the most prestigious of the lot, more like the most corrupt.Comment

They're not going to suspend the potential Money Maker for them and lose sanctioning fees but this is ridiculous... all you had to do is declare the medicine prior to the fight and it would have been no issue but being done in an underhanded way.. Vada is a joke..Comment

I hope you're taking your meds for that high blood pressure & hyper-tension you're displaying.Comment

Sounds to me like Ortiz's people made an honest but costly mistake. The WBC is doing the right thing by not suspending Ortiz and should follow up by mandating a match with Wilder ASAP. Wilder's KO of Stiverne was a walk in the park. He should be ready to fight again in 6-8 weeks easily. The WBA is biased and sounds as if they are protecting Wilder. How do they suspend Ortiz in their words, "based on a previous failed test"? If the evidence shows that Ortiz's team simply failed to fill out the form properly rather than Ortiz actually took peds, how can they suspend him? This stinks of high corruption.Comment
