That worked out nicely, keeping Ortiz out of the ring for over a year, the man is probably close to 45 years and will be inactive for 18 months until he fights again.

Yeah, this stinks. I might have given Ortiz the benefit of the doubt had this been the first time, but you expect me to buy this garbage after he already got caught and served a drugs ban already? I don't trust like that, no matter what excuse they roll out.

Obviously Suleiman wants to keep his big money fights intact so he can get those sweet sanctioning fees, and figures he can make do with Ortiz v Wilder if Wilder doesn't fight Joshua next.

Every single headline to do with drugs and the WBC has sent a clear message about their stance on cheaters: "We don't really care, we'll help sweep it under the rug and prop up any BS excuse if it means we can keep the cash flowing." I used to think the WBC belt was the most prestigious of the lot, more like the most corrupt.

High blood pressure medication. lol. It's amazing how many asthmatics and fighters with 'high blood pressure' there is. Who would have thought that so many elite level power athletes would have the same medicine cabinet as an 80 year man.... Ffs just bring in the mma drug rules and be done with it already. Specifically the 4.1 rule where you're basically allowed to pump 4 times the amount of testosterone into you that you would be expected to have.

We're not ******, we all know everybody is taking them anyway including Wilder.

If he can't, he should be suspended. Period.
That fight was 3 minutes of Stiverne's life that he'll never get back either. In fact, it may have taken a few years off his lifespan.

Great. Hopefully he'll get a shot at Wilder.

I'm sure he doesn't mind that, given the pay day.

He didn't exert himself too much, and it probably worked out at about a million per punch.
