Lennox was slow and lethargic vs Vitali, and it would've been very possible for Roy to win that fight in my eyes. Every time I watch that Vitali fight, I think the same thing.

For those of you who say Ruiz wasn't a real challenge...hardly anyone was saying that before the fight.

      I do love revisionist history.

The funny thing is before the Tarver fight I think evryones opinions would be different. His chin is not bad, and his reflexes at heavyweight are so good that it would be very hard for a fighter to catch him with a clean shot. At that time in Lennox's career I think he has a good chance.

I just don't see RJJ winning by any means. And I'm sure Roy himself knew that. He took advantage by fighting the weakest title holder in the division and got a title for himself then fought Tarver.

Again, separate the HYPES from the facts, he got knocked out in the Light Heavy Weight Division so that tells us that he won't be competitive in the HW.

Is it likely he would have won? No; but it is possible.

I like Roy but I honestly don't think he could of pulled it off, that jab would keep Roy at a distance IMO. He coulden't avoid being hit the whole fight and I know Lewis pride woulden't let him lose in a fight he's so HEAVILY favored.

Rou at his best would move all over the ring staying away from anything leenox threw, he would throw right hooks to the body all day goin in and out it would be good fight but honestly lennox would eventually corner him and dismantle him and ROYS my 2nd favorite fighter ever

I personally think the Jones that fought Ruiz may possibly be able to do a job on the Lennox that fought Vitali, he'd be able to tire Lennox out with his movement. Who knows?

Good point, there is no way to tell. However, it would be interesting, Roy would move alot in the fight, and theres a good chance lennox would tire out.
