So Muhammad Ali isn't 'the greatest' because he looked average against Doug Jones and Ken Norton?

Roy got the job done vs all those guys, and stopped or knocked down all of 'em.

That is correct, Benn had beat Lou 'The English Rocky Balboa' Gent (who only got a shot at Benn's title because of a previous draw with WBC 168 #1 contender Henry Wharton) far more emphatically than McCrory did, though many thought Benn was being totally foolish - saying it would be a middleweight against a heavyweight and that Nigel would be biting off way more than he could chew.

I remember when Benn was going to fight Jeff Harding back in 1991 for the world light-heavyweight title he said that he'd weigh 168 as a light-heavy because he didn't see the need to put on unnecessary weight.

My guess is that Benn would weigh 168 as a cruiserweight! He was only a small middleweight afterall.

Muhammad Ali is the 'greatest' not in terms of boxing ability, but as a boxer and person.

Someone said Jones was great, and you responded by alluding that Roy didn't look great vs Harding/Griffin/McCallum.

                Stick on subject.

This is just plain rediculous. Some of you really think RJJ could have compete with Tyson or Lennox.Really think about it he would have been KOed so badly he would be retired 3 years ago.........

You mean Eubank said he wanted to fight Holyfield?? WTF!

If Glenn beat Lennox (which he was never going to do, with his chin) then I do believe that Eubank would of beaten Glenn, infact I think Glenn would of struggled to lay of glove on him if Eubank came in no higher than 180. And yeah I suppose that would of probably put Eubank in contention to fight Holyfield Holyfield was a former cruiserweight, and Eubank a future cruiserweight. Interesting stuff, but complete fantasy at the same time

I doubt the BBBC would of allowed Eubank to come in any less than 190, if he fought for the HW title against Holyfield. This would of slowed Eubank down a lot, carrying all that weight. Holyfield would of punished him, and Evander would of been paid more than he'd ever been paid and more than he would ever of been paid until Tyson came out of jail with the fight taking place in England. Damn, THAT would of won over the fans for Eubank (who was ****ing Hated)!

The RJJ that got KO'd by Glen Johnson & Tarver(TWICE) couldn't have beat Lennox @ all, but maybe the Roy that first moved to HW & would only throw combos & run to a decision might have. Who cares now anyway, RJJ retired as a stepping stone & Lennox left everyone with a Cliffhanger (Could Vitali have beaten him if his cutman didn't dig that cut wide open). Now can U Dig Dat!!!!!!
