Chris Eubanks is an unbelievable guy, had injections in his knee to mask the pain just before he went out to fight Calzaghe, leaves the ring after Calzaghe fight with a smile on his unmarked face and struts out of the arena while Calzaghe`s face is left bashed up and Calzaghe`s barely able to stand in the ring, funny stuff -
Thats it.Originally posted by vB MartinJones didn't want a real challenge at Heavyweight, which is why he fought Ruiz. All he wanted was a belt. He could have made FAR more money fighting any of the top heavyweights at the time, including Little Klit, Big Klit, Lewis. Hell, he probably could have made more money fighting Holyfield. He would have lost to any of them, except probably Holyfield. That's the reason he fought Tarver.

It would send Roy from one side of the ring to the other, quite honestlyOriginally posted by RunWithKnivesYou have points.
But I shudder to think what Lewis' right cross to the body would have done to roy. I mean, Oliver McCall "squinched" after he ate that punch.
Oh and "Squinch" is Oscar De La Hoya's word for grimace.Comment

Yeah, Lennox's power was nothing to sneeze at. For Roy to stand a chance, he'd have to have been in the best possible shape, fleet of foot, and as elusive as a handful of gas.Originally posted by RunWithKnivesYou have points.

lol,,,,if you can imagine jones being able to last 12 rounds with a giant with skills like lewis you really need to get your head examined. speaking of heads....can you imagine what jones little head would look like if it was punched by lewis? lol,,,it would probably fall off and land in the upper seatsOriginally posted by K-DOGGActually, I think yes. Roy, even an old Roy, would still have been faster of hand and foot than the giant Lewis. A decision is not out of the question; but he'd have to fight the same sort of fight Michael Spinks used against Holmes the first time.
Is it likely he would have won? No; but it is possible.Comment

After Jones beat Ruiz, he agrees to face Lennox Lewis instead of Antonio Tarver. What happens?Comment

And lets not forget that Roy Jones Jr was faster than anyone Lewis has ever faced.Originally posted by K-DOGGLaugh if you will; but stranger things have happened.
Roy's chin was not that bad.
You are downgrading it becuase of what happened after he suffered the two concussions late in his career.Last edited by Easy-E; 06-08-2006, 08:33 PM.Comment
