Is Deontay Wilder really a A-Level fighter? If so, why isn't Shawn Porter

Guys that are just "big" are guys like Valuev, Grant, Wach, Carnera, etc. the only guys around AJ's, Fury and Wilder's size are the Klitschkos, Lewis, and a prime Bowe.

I personally consider it just as good as welter if not better where plenty of guys have also shown a lot of flaws. Thurman has been hurt bad by Collazo, Spence went down to the wire with Brook, 5'5 38 year old Pac still hanging around, Cherrypicker Garica, etc.

We've seen better from welter before, but HW we haven't seen 3 guys this size, this good, ever at the same time. Even the contenders and up and comers are bigger, more powerful than ever.
I don't strongly disagree with anything in your post...but the ww division is a much deeper talent pool if we're doing a p4p comparison.

Porter gets alot of hate for being rugged and not easy on the eye. He is a swarmer, throwing 5 or 6 to land 1 or 2. Despite all the critics, Porter is a decent boxer he just has developed a style that puts winning by workrate first.

Wilder, on the other hand has no defined style at all just decent power created by ridiculous levers. Comparing Porter and Wilder makes no sense at all, Porter is competitive in a division stacked with talent, Wilder just beats up bums and shot fighters.

Some are taller than Wilder and cannot use their jabs. Most are bigger but do not have Wilder's power - that also is not athleticism. Wilder keeps a good weight on himself which allows him to have more endurance than others. And for all the criticisms on here, he keeps finding people with either of his hands and knocking them down - that is not luck, but skill. When will he ever get his credit on here? It is not about looking the part but being the part.

Kobe looks better than Lebron shooting and handling the basketball but Lebron is more effective. Does that mean Lebron is not as talented or skilled?
The skill disparity between Wilder and Joshua is wide. The skill disparity between Kobe and LeBron is debatable. See the difference?

To you it is, but to me, Joshua really has average skills. He only looks the part against inferior comp. No jab, no combos, no footwork. He's all left hook/left uppercut and his stamina is terrible.

despite what you believe his flaws to be, he still has a better fundamental foundation than wilder imo. wilder gets by on raw talent...mainly punching power. he's definitely getting better, but he's still a bit wild and gets off balance...although, the stiverne fight wasn't enough to show where he's at. Joshua's biggest issue for me is he has too much muscle...it makes for poor stamina and a generally lazy fighter.

Everyone has an opinion. Imo Wilder has a better jab, better footwork and more power imo. Joshua imo showed a lot of flaws against Takam. It's no problem that we differ on the two.

Fair enough...I disagree on the footwork tho. Wilder is more athletic and probably moves quicker, but his stance and balance aren't so good sometimes. Wilder looks to have more snap on his jab, but he does the old bow and arrow when he throws it quite a bit.

GG earned my respect, that's what happened.

And you're the last person that we should ever ask or care about what you have to say about Wilder Joshua.

You're just like the rest of the scared ass Joshua fans only you're trying to jump off the Pac bandwagon and trying to jump on Joshua's...only you're that bus in the movie "Speed" lol.

In your wisdom, may you enlighten everyone here on this disparity based on skills - not cooked up items from nowhere? I will be waiting on this...
