Is Deontay Wilder really a A-Level fighter? If so, why isn't Shawn Porter

As I've recently stated Wilder has great power and a great right hand but he is very fundamentally flawed. His footwork his poor, he leaves his chin exposed, he doesn't have a lot of tools, suspect chin, and his defense is poor. Will all these flaws I see people making it seem as if Wilder is an A-Level fighter when it is clearly evident that he too flawed to be. Now, let's look at a guy like Shawn Porter. Shawn Porter is an above average boxer with really good footwork(underrated aspect), great at cutting off the ring, brick chin, good body puncher, great stamina, and he is great at breaking his opponents will. As you can see, P4P Shawn Porter is levels above wilder yet I see many people claiming that Porter is a C or B-Level fighter which can be debated(I personally think he is at least B+ or A-) but making it seem as if Wilder is an A-Level fighter? What gives? And what exactly makes a fighter B-Level or A-Level?

he as good power, nice jab, right hand, great lead left hook, I don't think he will ever be the most technical fighter but id say hes B level. his power is A+ which makes him dangerous. porter looked good sat he was B+ he was boxing

If Porter had an unbeaten record he'd be talked about like an all-time great the way Wilder is. If Wilder had fought porter's competition he'd have a few losses and would have been thrown in the garbage.

Porter is better, but judging by this place it seems Wilder is either #1 or 2 best in the world pound for pound. I'd much rather watch Wilder though. I hate Porter's style. Every round is ugly.

I'm sorry, but if everything was equal, I do not see hom beating, Golovkin, Porter, the Charlos, Usyk, Loma, Rigo, Thurman, Brook, Spence, Crawford, Imam, Mikey, Danny, Andrae, Floyd, Manny, Marquez.

What makes a fighter B or A Level in your opinion. For example, if Porter was to beat Thurman in a rematch and beat Crawford wouldn't that make him A-Level?

Of course. I think there's probably 50 fighters at least that are better than Wilder and probably 100 with better resumes of current guys, but he's talked about like the best fighter on the planet on here.

Interesting point. But is it really?
Anthony Joshua is on the same level as Thurman, Brook, Spence, and Crawford. He certainly does have a better resume compared to all of them and if everything was equal I could see all those fights being 50/50.

His talent and ability are A level. He will never be very technically sound but with his gifts he doesn't need to be.
Porter only had a great work ethic ad sublime stamina. His skills are ****, he fights like **** he looks like **** when he fights and there is nothing redeeming about his style.

                    It's heavyweight.

Humans may look the same on the outside but we're all built very differently on the inside. A smaller guy like Porter has genetics that allow him to react faster, put it this way, it's easier controlling a 5'7 compact body than it is a lanky 6'7 body.

Wilder himself is very skilled when you factor in his sheer size, compare him to other big men from the past/present like Grant, Valuev, Wach, etc. there is a clear gap in skill.

I'd also argue that there is skill in avoiding power punches. How many times have we seen Porter run recklessly into a counter? I really don't think his style would work against a guy that could put him out with 1 punch.

Lower weight classes=more skill but far safer to fight in.

Higher weight classes=less skill but far more dangerous to fight in.
