If Joshua wants to have the islander mentality and just focus on his little fiefdom he can do that and do just fine, if Joshua wants to be insanely huge he needs to be looking outside his little kingdom~
Attendance numbers and paychecks would beg to differ. You think Wilder could put 90K asses in seats in the U.S.? How about even half of that? Or 25%?

Joshua just earned himself a $13M payday to fight Takam. Wilder's last fight he earned $900K. Sorry, but money talks my friend. Stop trying to spin this in Wilder's favor. He isn't nearly as popular as Joshua on a global level. Closing in on 40 fights and his best opponent was flabby Arreola.

Wilder is doing just fine in comparison to everyone else? He was about to get what 6 million for Povetkin?

The US is not about going to sporting events like that, also keep in mind America is a big ****ing place not a postage stamp off the coast of Europe~

No Wilder is just more popular in the US, which if Joshua wants to take it to the next level is the logical choice. I mean he could go conquer China too that would work, who does he fight there?

Joshua ain't **** non a global scale, he is huge in the UK and well known in Europe. If he wants to really keep the momentum going he can't sit on his one good win he needs to keep adding more. No one he can fight does more for him at the moment than Wilder.

Your opinion on how big Wilder is doesn't change that~ how is the Stiverne not better than Arreola when he beat his ass twice? especially the version from the first fight~

Joshua beating Klitschko put him a notch above Wilder in terms of popularity. He accomplished that in his 19th fight. Wlad may have been past his prime but was still a big name.

Ok, so Stiverne is better than Arreola...who the **** is Stiverne? He has absolutely no fanbase to speak of, and will likely run out of steam again in the rematch.

Joshua is big in Europe, Africa and starting to gain some ground globally. He endorses 13 products that include Under Armour, Jaguar, Sky Sports, Beats, Stubhub and others. How many products have signed Wilder to endorse them?

Not in the US it didn't Wlad means nothing here really other than as a quality fighter. Yea Joshua currently has overall higher star power, but if he really wants to make waves Joshua has a lot of work to do himself. One win doesn't a career make (this holds true for Wilder also should he beat Joshua he will need to keep putting in work).

Stiverne is just a tough fighter with a bit of ability and some pop. Now he is like a perfect match for Wilder because he is not aggressive and not big enough to really counter Wilder so he really can't do much to Wilder unless Wilder lets him.

Like I said he was in a Corona commercial and is heavily features in commercials for Showtime Boxing. This all goes back to the first part though Joshua can be a lot bigger all over except in the UK, he has only maxed out one fairly small market so if he wants to be this huge star dude has work to put in.

Both Joshua and Wilder need to cross the pond for a fight. Wilder had a $5M opportunity to gain some exposure in the U.K. versus Whyte. He turned it down.

Joshua should come to the U.S. to fight a contender, gain that exposure and then insist a fight between he and Wilder be fought in the U.K. in front of 90K live fans. That "postage stamp" of country has a population of 65M, not exactly a deserted island. And somehow they fill boxing venues that are 6 times larger than the U.S.

That I can agree on although it is more of the smart thing to do to make the fight as big as possible rather than needed. Joshua should fight in the US for a proper introduction before he fights Wilder, it makes when he wins even bigger.

Wilder should also go to England and have a fight because it makes the fight bigger since it will most likely make the most money in the UK.

Considering the fight will not be next anyway they have time to do all that.

Skysport are trying to build Wilder here, that’s one of the reasons they want him to fight Whyte, I personally I think they have done a better job for his HW career than his own team.

You want to make a case for the greatness of Wilder go right ahead. Ten or twenty years from now no one will remember him. He'll be a blip on the radar that came and went. The only possible way he can establish a legacy is to remain undefeated for 51 fights.

Why would I want to make a case for Wilder's greatness??? I just find it hilarious you said Muhammad Ali wasn't a "big name" on a resume. 😭😭😭
Obviously Ali wasn't the same fighter from the 60's or even mid 70's but he was still the "biggest name" in boxing.

Everything you say about AJ beating Wlad completely contradicts what you said about Holmes not having a big name on his resume cause Ali was past his prime.
