We are going to have to agree to disagree here. You believe Eddie is credible. I believe he is a pathetic liar and can provide other evidence of fighters contradicting what Eddie says was a good offer. The most recent example was Dominic Breazeale who wanted to fight Whyte but said the offer was too low for the amount of risk, even though Eddie was saying it was this fantastic offer. Eddie does not have to get in the boxing ring so he can talk all the crap he likes, but the boxers are the ones that need to protect themselves both in and out of the ring.
I saw that video and the only thing apparent from it was that they did not even entertain talks about fighting Whyte.. DiBella himself said "Fighting Whyte to get to AJ is irrelevant".. Hearn can't send a contact if they are even willing to entertain it. But Jay Deas seems to be warming to the idea now and said Wilder would face Whyte next if they can get a contract in place.

As for Hearn being a liar.. All promoters lie. I didn't say he doesn't.. They all exaggerate to make things sound bigger than they are.. But you can't show me a time where he didn't try to make a fight he said he would. Of course you can show proof that fighters and happy with his offers.. To me and you 4mil to fight Whyte is a very good deal, to Wilder its not because he wants 7mil.

You can't use the Breazeale scenario as an example because we don't know how much was offered. Why didn't Breazeale say how much he was offered? What if he was offered 500k.. That's sounds good to me and you but maybe he wanted a million which is unreasonable. Fact is some fighters expect too much for certain fights.

On Whyte, we are going to have to agree to disagree. I think Stiverne and Duhuapas are better than Whyte. I consider Whyte to be on the same level as Molina. I could see Arreola beating Whyte or vice-versa. But compared to the rest of guys Wilder has fought outside these, I agree with you.
At the start of 2016 Joshua only had a win over Whyte and no world belt, and Whyte rocked him and then bust his shoulder, he also had no trainer and had to draft in Banks at the last minute, so Joshua had no good wins and hadn't gone past 7 rounds at that point and Whyte was not 100%. Of course I would rate Takam higher not only on record but on the eye-test. He is vastly more skilled than Joshua as of early 2016, now it's a little closer as I have seen improvement in Joshua since then.

I actually have money on Takam as I think it's a 50-50 with Joshua and the odds are ridiculous, he's only been stopped by an elite Povetkin on PED's.

I don't believe Stiverne at his age is better than Whyte after his shoulder operation and working with Mark Tibbs for the last 18 months. Whyte has focus, stability and is taking his training seriously, which he didn't do pre-Joshua. I think Whyte batters Stiverne and Duhaupas clearly.

If you followed Whyte, as I do, you would see the improvement in everything. Diet, training, trainer etc etc. I think he gives Joshua and Wilder tough tests.

Why he won't fight Dylan Whyte for $3 mil is a great mystery. He'd rather fight Stiverne for less than $1 mil.

Nobody knows where the pride is coming from.

Some great points again! Would love to see Duhuapas-Whyte. I think the former beats Whyte easily. I also think Stiverne should not be underestimated. He is old but not as ****** as people make him seem. My problem with Whyte is not that he hasn't improved his fitness, diet, training. It is that in spite of that, he fought a 37/38 year old in his last fight and was not impressive in my opinion. Even when he fought Chisora, I thought the latter won.

I don't really care, as long as AJ/Wilder is next.

To be fair, he walked through Tann and didn't get out of second gear, nothing to gain from that fight and a total mismatch.

I scored the Chisora fight a draw, but Chisora is underrated and a proven world level fighter. Fury schooled him the second time but he has been in with elite fighters and not looked bad, Klitschko, Pulev...beat Helenius Imo. Chisora is a perfect fight for Whyte, he went 12 rounds and won a close decision (I scored it a draw).....when Chisora is up for a fight he can be good, but he can also be bad, which gives people like you ammo to discredit Whyte. Look at Chisora at the end of that fight, he was busted up, while Whyte was the one pressing in the 12th round. That fight proved Whyte as a European level contender and a serious HW, but your argument is "Chisora is garbage and Whyte lost"....Whyte was just beginning his journey with a new trainer and gave a great performance, showing a great chin and that he belonged at that level.

Chisora would give Wilder fits IMO and is better than Stiverne, Wilder will come unstuck against a come-forward fighter like that.

This is where Joshua fans are holding their rally-in this thread lmao. Just peep some of the answers, lmao. First it was Wlad rematch, Ortiz, Pulev and then Wilder. 3 of them pulled out, so now it's Takam, lmao. Ustinov, Oquendo and then possibly Bellew or even Haye lol. Wilder is out. Breazeale and Martin had no problem being made. They offered them good money, but Wilder who has a trinket isn't worth the sweat on a hippos nuts lmao. #DamageControl

Whyte is the most overrated fighter in boxing. He gets all this press and has not beaten any named fighter in their prime and has lived off local circuit fighters and the only time he fought a big name, he was knocked out.
