No genuine Wilder fan, including myself, wants to see Wilder-Stiverne 2, but Uncle Don King has paid off the WBC to keep Stiverne's position. That is the problem.

Firstly, I don't see the WBC having a problem sanctioning a fight with Miller. Miller is scheduled to face Marius Wach in a few weeks and he's ranked #6 on their rankings. A win over Wach will put Miller in their rankings. Secondly, the only fighters Wilder can face that could further his goal towards unifying the belts is one of the other champions. Beating ranked guys in those other sanctioning bodies won't make Wilder anyone's mandatory since he's already champion. So the best thing he can do is fight the best guys he can and the guys who will bring the most excitement to the promotion. The only real alternative option for that outside of one of the other champions would have been Luis ORtiz but Ortiz is now suspended for another violation.
