This is just Oscar trying to secure the biggest slice of the money pie in a rematch with GGG. I'm sure Canelo wants to get right back in there with GGG and those are Oscar's order, but Oscar must still try to get as much $ as possible secured for Canelo. If you put the fear into GGG's camp that he might fight Lemieux next, that could help loosen the grip on certain demands GGG camp has for a rematch.

I see this plot from a mile away.

If Lemieux wins, Golden Boy immediately makes an in house fight of Canelo/Lemieux for Cinco de Mayo, feed Lemieux to Canelo for that WBO belt and then maybe they make the Canelo/GGG 2 for next September.

Not that I have a huge problem with this theory because as a Canadian, I would like to see Lemieux fight a big money fight vs Canelo and Canelo/Lemieux would be a good fight and PPV worthy, imo.

He’s a Canelo fan because just like Canelo he got oral herpes from a Mexican hooker.

Angulo top ten??? lmao Trout?? lol Lara arguably top 10 at that time and he slid by with a razor thin victory that was at 155. He fought and had 20lbs on little floyd at 152 catchweight and got completely embarrassed. Canelo has had 3 legit elite fighters on his resume to date. Floyd-loss lara- controversial sd & ggg controversial draw. i see a pattern here

you're a clown dude. At the time of the fight, Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, Trout, Cotto, were not top 10, they were all TOP 5 in their div!!! Not to mention he fought guys like Liam smith, who aren't top names, but was a champ nonetheless. Easy to look back now and talk sheit, but these were all legit names when the fights took place.

lmaoooo the only clown is you. please enlighten me about the time when angulo was ever top 5 at 154?? Kirkland hadnt fought in 2 years and was coming off a loss how the hell was he even top 10 at 54, let alone top 5?? cotto wasnt and still isnt top 5 at 154 nor trout. lara is the only legit example which i already agreed on. and liam smith lol? come on dude hes as much as a champ as algeri was when he fought pac. a paper champ who loses to just about anyone worth a damn. youre either trolling or a fan boy
