    ... very likely...........................

Haha the diversion tactics going on, make it look like Golovkin is the one being difficult to negotiate with, when theyre the ones with the rematch clause. People falling for it aswell. Good work Oscar, good work.

True. Oscar will begin the back peddling now. They got away with it once but too many saw through it. Byrd should have at least scored it a little closer. The "business" of boxing rears its ugly head once again.

On another note, it appears that the only way Canelo would of got his second shot at Tripple-Duck would of been losing to him for then he would of been able to exercised his rematch clause but now with the 'Draw' the duck is on the loose!

Hurry Gennady! sign the contract!!! look out its a CHARLO BRO coming!!! Quack! Quack!

Once GGG agreed to their terms including scraping the July saunders fight the fight was done agreed on even before canelo and lemieux fought in may.

the rematch is happening next too much money on the line but why not sell the lemieux fight in Dec and let GGG know who the A side is and that it is on canelo's terms. GGG just like last time will jump as high as golden boy tells him too because he can't make real money without canelo. Canelo just drew over 1m PPVS and made over 20M without GGG already this year. Lemieux is leverage over GGG.
You goldfish brains have already forgotten a stadium full of Mexican fans who cheered Canelo on his way into the ring to fight GGG and booed him on his way out.

If he ducks the rematch with Golovkin, Canelo's name will once again be mud in the mouths of his own fans. Think about it.

Honestly even if they both win, I don't need to see Golovkin vs Lemieux again. It's a waste of time and Golovkin doesn't have too much time left

Unlike some of their next door neighbours, Canadian sports fans seem like honourable, fair minded people.

Is there any history of home-town decisions in Canadian boxing?
